Sorry to say, but I cannot stick around anymore. I don't have the money, do to loosing my job and such. Plus other more pressing issues have come up in my life, which I am really concerned with lately. I loved gaming with you guys. I have never experienced a more Professional and fun (altough sometimes very silly) community of gamers in an MMORPG. I will miss you all and I will most of all miss my character Fondo. I hope to rejoin you guys once my life gets back on track but by the looks of it, it will take some time.

I know alot of you did not know me but I would like to wish all of you a nice time here without me, and to all that did know me and could stand me... Love you all.

I decided to do a bit of the Matrix storyline from an Eyewitness' perspective. Let me know what you think.

I remember the day my mother was possessed like it was yesterday. We where walking in the market, getting some groceries. It was like any other day we went shopping there. People would try to sell us things for which we had no use and mother would say "No Hun this nice man is not a nice man." And I would know instantly what she meant. We would by salad, tomatoes, some other vegetables and some little things needed around the house. Times where tough back then, we couldn't afford all this expensive stuff from the super market so we went to the street markets. What a mistake that was.

We where walking as always, when all of the sudden we heard gunshots. I couldn't see what was happening but my mother could see over the crowd in front of us. She was holding my hand tight. I couldn't see here face because the grocery bag was covering it. I was afraid. I held her hand tightly and she held back. I could see between the legs of the crowd in front of me and watched this man in black run from two men in suits. My mother let go of me. I turned to look her in the face but the grocery bag was still covering it.

The grocery bag fell and there was no longer my mother, but a nice man that was not nice, he had a gun and he was shooting at the man in black. I was in shock, I remember falling on my knees and calling my mother, but she never came, the man in the suit looked at me briefly and then ran along in the same direction as the others. I sat there calling my mother but she never came.

Two days later the police came to my grandmother's house, where I had been staying until my mother was found. They where talking with her trying not to let me hear but the walls and doors of the apartment was thin. They had found my mother. She had been found dead somewhere on the street. There was no sign of murder or any reason for death, period.  But I knew what had happened. The demon in the suit that possessed my mother had left the body again but taken her soul. It has been 9 years now and I am 18, but I will never stop searching for my mother, even though the body is found and dead, I think her soul lives on somewhere. I was told one man could give me an answer. His name is Neo.

Well hello first of all. Because of the success of the first Noice Awards I was thinking of making a 2.0. We have been having a lot more talented artists here and people with a eye for taking screenshots. Most of you know what it is but i will recap anyway.

The Noice awards is a celebration of In game art, be it edited or non-edited. You have the chance of taking first or second prize in a category. This was just a quick recap, for more info search the RSI forum for Noice Awards.

Now I was wondering if anybody would even be interested in seeing a second one. Now this time around a lot of things would be done differently...

1. Better and more appealing medals.

2. More judges.

3. More categories.

4. More time to get those shots in.

5. Edited and Non edited will be split in too different categories.

When I try to load my main character "Fondo" the loading screen (Ship maiframe) stops at the screen loading character. But when I try to load another character 8t goes straight to the game, no matter how long I let the loading character screen go it wont load. Help please.

Edit: This not loading is ahppening to all my Vector chars. Just noticed that, but my syntax chars load no problem.

Do to unfortuate circumstances the RSI's of my Operatives have been permanently terminated. My ships service belongs to the long time Zion Faction The Duality, which prides its self to be the oldest German faction (we ofcourse take English speaking memebrs as well). Tried to get some good looking images without enhancing the Image at all. The most important thing (I think) with enahncing images is to have a good picture to work with. If anybody feels like it you may enhance them and post, but all I wanted to do was show (I think) some good shots. Also use this forum to show off NON-enhanced images to your fellow Forum users. So this is for anybody, but please do not cheat and enhance. Have fun.

You know I have been thinking about this for some time, but I just watched the third instalment of the Trilogy again yesterday and decided it was time to ask the community.

The humans pulled operation DarkStorm to cut the machines off from sunlight, then the machines couldn't relly on the sun for energy anymore and had to find a new way to get electricity and they found something, us. Now, this is where it gets interesting, as we can tell the machines obviously have very advanced hover abilities and construction abilities (look at 01) right? Well when Neo and Trinity are on there way to 01 they quickly fly over the clouds which I think prooves that the cloud covering is reachable.

Now why didn't the machines just build a couple of really tall solar collection panels that reach out over the clouds? Then they wouldn't have to deal with us.

The only problem, I could produce myself, that I had with this theory was that obviously the DarkStorm is electrically charged right? Because it shut down the hovercraft and the other sentinels. But if it has some form of electricity then the Machines shurly could find a way to harness it aswell. Basically I think the hassel to build a simple construction is far more efficient than have to deal with the Matrix and a crap load of rebels, but then we wouldn't have a movie, would we?

Just a thought that has been bugging me for some time.

The Categories:

Landscape: A shot of an area inside the matrix, no RSIs.

RSI: A shot of your RSI with or without landscape background.

Combat: A shot of your RSI in combat with one or more enemys (NPC or PVP).

Diorama: A story shot. Be it story line related or a player event. No fighting.

All entries MUST BE between 500x500 and 1000x1000 pixels in size and Matrix related. No others will be admitted.

Next, each contestant will only be allowed to partake in 3 categories not all 4. You must put Image titel and Categorie ABOVE the image.

The images do not need to edited. The images will be judged mainly upon Composition and Content. Editing will help, BUT non edited images have a great chance of beating a Edited image as long as the shot is better.

Good luck, this starts now and ends Sunday at Noon GMT. Then Judging will start.

Alright since everybody knows that the "Noice" Award will be held from the 25th thru the 26th of this month and judged on the 27th, than you should also know that time is getting short. You have three weeks to finsih your submissions. Now this here is a discussion thread and I will be in the States from the 6th thru 21st so I dont know if I will be able to log on in that time, but I will post the competition rules here again before I leave so feel free to discuss them or the event here. This was more of a heads up to remind everybody including the judges that its right around the corner. Can't wait.
