When one of the most powerful forces for peace in the Matrix begins attacking citizens on the street, apparently without provocation, we must all be concerned for our world's safety. If Seraph has truly lost his reason, can any of us stop his mad rampage?

We were very fortunate to have the famed Seraph visit Viraconrida and friends at a dojo in the International District. He endeavored to answer questions they had concerning Anome, and was then kind enough to spar with some of the operatives, giving them many fine examples of his unmatched martial arts prowess. He even condescended to duel this humble servant of yours. At one point I nearly thought I had him, but upon reflection, I think he was allowing me to grow overconfident, in order to teach me a valuable lesson.

I know that I and the other operatives lucky enough to be there learned much that day. Seraph is a perfect example, friends, of the purity of action and thought that characterizes the very finest warriors. Let us do what we can to follow his example. I know that this will help us achieve the peace for which we yearn so dearly.

A careful analysis of intercepted probe data led operatives to conclude that Unlimit was engaging in unusual activity in Westview. Coordinated by Diversus, we combed the district, eliminating Unlimit soldiers when they were foolish enough to confront us. They were near hardlines--there seemed to be a pattern. Eventually, Zeec located an unusual Unlimit on a rooftop. Unlike his fellows, he was nervous--but not hostile. In fact, he seemed to want to talk, to an extent; but despite our assurances, he could not seem to bring himself to tell us what worried him. Still, we discovered that he knew Caboclo, a name that has come out recently in connection with Anome's inner circle. Some of his odd mutterings even hinted that Caboclo had reason to fear Anome, but he said he could not explain what he meant by this. Finally growing greatly agitated, he jumped away, covering his retreat with a sudden mob of simulacra.

There is a mystery here, my friends. Caboclo may be even more important to Anome's overthrow than we thought. And as for our mysterious friend--who can say? Keep an eye out for either of them; I have a feeling that their parts in this little play are far from finished.

Anome's forces are surprisingly organized, given their leadership, but organization without inspiration is easy prey to those seeking information, my friends. They are certainly up to something, and the means by which they hope to accomplish their design become clearer with each passing day.
