Now, As some of you know Andais was a member of the Omega Syndicate, and was under AvatRama's wing for a small amount of time. Basically from the moment she was enlightened to the world of The Matrix. Being a program herself, Andais, once educated about the organizations began to feel that she was in the wrong place, being one of Zion. Because well, She felt fighting for The Matrix, her home to be destroyed just was not right for her. However, after much contemplation she thought it would be best to stay with Omega Syndicate, not because of Zion but because she felt obligated to AvatRama.
This all soon changed once Andais' curiosity was sparked by The Masked, specifically Aiyalla. No one had really said much of anything to Andais about The Masked..except for that they were bad bad people! So naturally, Andais set up a time to meet with Aiyalla and Aiyalla was more than happy to answer all of her questions. Andais began asking questions about The Merovignian, but soon after all of the questions were served with The Masked. Andais' logic as well as what she wanted seemed to fit perfectly with The Masked. At that moment, she decided where her place was and decided she would do all she could to be in ranks with them.
Soon after this realization, Espi joined Aiyalla and Andais and Andais was to be the Eyes and Ears for The Agenda. She was to spy on The Omega Syndicate as well as anyone else who would give useable INTEL.
Now this is where we get to the complicated part...And the part I will most likely be flamed for.
Everything that I was done, was done in character. Every peice of information that was given was in character, or given through a "drop box" aka email. There was information on a specific post on the Omega Syndicate forums. This was probably the only post written in an IC format, concerning a traitor to The Masked that was now in The Omega Syndicate. This In Character information, was used strictly for RP purposes, Nothing was done out of character. The forums were considered classified Omega Syndicate information line that Andais had transferred to Espi. This peice of information had nothing to do with the social , combat, or suggestions/tips, or possible storylines that may be implemented.... Typical things that generally find their way around faction forums. I will not be giving an example of the post, For one because I no longer have access to those forums, and I do not think it would be right to show to the entire community.
This information was shared between Aiyalla, Espi, and Andais. No one else knows exactly what happens..Because they simply were not there. We were using a secure channel, so nothing would be heard..Simply no one knows exactly what happens except for those three.
The concern that what I did was breaking the lines of RP. I have been told this many times since it was out in the open that Andais had joined The Masked Agenda. I have thought heavily on it....Because I am a morale, and dare I say it nice person OOC. Now I would agree with this statement if the INTEL leaked was OOC information, however the post was written in a format that the majority was IC, and directly linked to the RSI's past/present with The Masked Agenda.
Andais has barely recieved much heat at all when it comes to her decision to join The Masked, and her betraying The Omega Syndicate, as well as zion. Yes, Andais has lost a few friends, and shocked a few people..But this is all. The majority of heat I as a person have been getting is OOC. People have been yelling, and insulting me OOC without even speaking to my character, Andais. I firmly do not believe that this is the way to handle something such as this, Since it is Andais that the task was done by. The justification for only speaking OOC and stating inappropriate things to me because I "Broke the line of RP" is rediculous. The information that was leaked by Andais was done only In Character and For RP purposes, using a thread that was IC and RP related. I still do not believe I have broken these lines.
Now for those who I have sabotaged to the point where people have stopped either a.) RPing, or b.) Have thought of quitting the game as a whole...I do apologize for putting you in this position, but I firmly believe that when RPing, that is espionage. And espionage does ruin people, simply put.
Threats such as "Andais will be written off the server" and telling me that I should create a new character, because what I did cross the line is unnecesarry and is a waste of your, and my time. I very well may be hated. However I did not expect it. I expect Andais to be hated, because she should. She's a betrayer. However hating me as a person I did not expect at all, because everything was done in character for the role playing purposes.
This is about the end of the explanation for the event that as happened. The only reliable sources as I have said are Me, Espi, and Aiyalla because no one else was around to hear the entire situation. By now I have discussed it with many people, mostly friends or old friends. If you really do want to know more about what happened, or don't understand why I did this, Talk to Andais in game or talk to me OOC, or reply to this forum.But please, keep it civil, This was all done for RP purposes and will stay that way, even though I understand not everyone agrees with it.))
