never really got round to finishing the research on this but maby you can pick yourself out of a shot given what has been found.

In this shot from left to right we have, balz, scythin, pvtkent, me sat down in mastershadow, outlaw54 and belgariad

so here we have the general, the fellow in the red coat is felicite, i want to say the girl in the red hair is vash but i could never quite confirm it. the others arnt visable on the screen.

its not quite as clear cut, you could look at this this way wb will directly own the image rights, ip and anything created pre soe. soe would be charged to use the image rights , anything created post take over id be inclined to say is coowned such as the storyline. soe made it wb approved it and since its based on their ip they retain a large amount of the copyright on it.   theres a strong argument for it being it that way since soe have this tendancy not to shut down sustainable games. i belive this is the 1st thats actually going the whole hog so that says to me the subscriber base can longer maintain the cost of the image rights.

well is true! so much thats posted is either speculation or the wrong end of the stick round here. all it ever takes is a little digging for the real truth ,we have/had a tiny player base so if you want it enough youl get the real picture.

i wouldnt exspect planetside to be on the chopping board.  my gut feeeling says this closure is a combination of the drop off in subs making it no longer cost effective to pay the ip rights and  the negative impact of running the ip in to the ground has againast future/current products

dont pipe up oftern but that would be a total slap in the face. if it comes to it atleast tap a more intresting item like an fm1500. youd sure get alot of micro transactions going on, on that one.

Why be a *a device used to introduce a stream of water into the body for medical or hygienic reasons*?  It was a request. (a rather derogritry one) In my opinion, the crappiest thing you could do as a community member is to be in the position to ask the direct questions and use it to shmooze and drink instead.(yes because no one ever asks questions, and dare not actually enjoy a holiday right?)  What I'm asking, is that while you're drinking and shmoozing, you get answers.(again with the low opinion yet your not going to be following your advice)

true he didnt work for free but the point i badly tried to put across is that if 100% of the subs definatly goes to mxo it emplys the games subsidised through the use of the combined resources soe use to keep their games running such as tech support , gms and other operating costs.then youve got the whole likness rights that are probly still paid ect.  though it could mean the games turning a profit but given the niche status of the game it probly dosent warrent aditional investment.

Sure, that is true to a certain degree, BUT let's not forget the reason we met these people..  I want more MxO related love.  I've been out there for 2 years straight, and it seems each year we get shafted more and more.  Hell, Planetside got more love than we did the last few years, and thats saying a lot.  Oh yeah, and BTW Tseng, I believe I saw you more at the bars last year than at most of the panels.  So I believe your experience doesnt count for everyone

 

 

I see where your comming from though i found last year was a step up from the year before, no banners admitedly but there was a demo unit running and we got a small snippet in the keynote video. People probly arnt best pleased at resent events but i still belive the best way to get the point across is to get as many people to go as can be, theres only so much that can be gained with feelings of dienchantment towards soe, with the other games they have a much bigger turnout therfor its catered towards them. so what im saying really is if the game wants to stand up and be counted then wehave to reprsent ourselves as more than a handfull of  forum post and a billing adress.

and ya i think i go with a differnt mandate really, with a game like ours if youve played it for long enough you kinda know most of what you wanted to anyway, so its more about just enjoying the time and taking a gander at whats comming up in the pipeline. unfortunatly i cant attend this year as i cant get the days but hopefully its not quite as bad as some are building it up to be this time round.

if i can get the dates required then probly, it shouldnt be about the pannels anyway its about the people.

if you want it back bad enough you can email all your stuff to yourself delete and remake the charicter. email stays consistant with the name, so youd get the beta gear when you remade then pull everyting out of email . just have to grind back to 50

Everyonce in awhile someone comes along who changes everything. and i think its safe to say you can probly be lumped into that statement.

over the years youve been that thorn that pushes us all on to try harder, constantly moving the goal posts and providing a unique challange you just dont get in most games. cause were not just trying to beat a game with set rules and a definative end , were trying to get inside your mind , to figure out what move your gonna make next and what we can do to affect that.

 thats how ive come to see the game, its like this big chess board, all about having the right peices in the right places at the right time, and i dont think we could of asked for a more worthy opponent. when alls said and done i think its fair to say that youve served your time and no one can denie youve done more than your fair share. i think thats about all there is to say so ill just say, so long and thanks for all the fish.
