This is my first attempt at anything RP so be gentle
Matthew Robson was never one to complain, never one to stand out, he kept his head down and got on with his own life. An Electronics Engineer by trade he always had an interest in technology and was inquisitive by nature. But there were always things he couldn't quite get his head round and couldn't find a logical explanation for, and being such an inquisitive soul this almost drove him to despair.
In his spare time Matt took up kickboxing, a little know form known as HopKuinDo for which he trained 3 times a week, after gaining some experience in the form he always felt he could push a but harder almost as if there was something holding him back some kind of limitation to his true potential.
On a cold damp evening in August on his way home from kickboxing Matt noticed a figure in the darkness, tired from a hard sessions training his mind started to wonder thinking
"what if this figure were to attack me? What would I do?"
For you see he practices a martial art to defend himself yet if the time came would he use it?
His mind was running away with what he would do to this figure in the dark if he had to defend himself, as he walked towards this figure he suddenly had a feeling of ease towards them as if they were destined to meet, almost as if it was fate. But this was not the time, Matt walked straight past the figure who just watched him walk past.
This figure was at the same place each week after kickboxing lessons, Matt felt un easy with them being there for 3 weeks running 2 weeks may be a coincidence but 3 weeks?! He made a decision, if this figure in the dark was there the following week he would confront them.
The following week Matt had a grading session for his 2nd grade, all was literally perfect all the techniques were spot on his mind was focused and he had self belief almost glowing from him like an aura. After this 3 hours grading he was strangely un fatigued not even out of breath, he felt as if he had passes this limitation and surpassed himself, on his way home sure enough there was this figure as Matt approached them, they spoke first...
Dark Figure : "You wish to ask me something don't you"
Matt: "how would you know such a thing?"
Dark Figure: " I know much about you Mr.Robson but answer my questions and I shall answer all of yours"
Matt took a step back and went into a fighting stance
Dark figure: "There is no need to be hostile Mr.Robson I mean you no harm, you must have many questions, come..."
The dark figure calmly walked towards the near by football pitch and sat on the halfway line, Matt being the ever inquisitive soul followed the stranger and sat opposite them.
Matt: "So WHO are you? I have seen you for the past month every week outside my kickboxing classes, this cannot be coincidence"
Dark figure: "I am seen by few and known by fewer. I am know as Maithe, and you are right it is not coincidence, I am here for a reason as are you"
Matt: "Erm... oooookay"
Maithe: "You have a strong, intelligent mind and a strong body, you are what I call a potential.... Shall I carry on?"
Matt: "Please do"
Maithe: "I have seen you train, you fell that something is holding you back... Yes"
Matt: "Yes.... But of late I fell like I am surpassing myself like there is more to me and I can train past that of others"
Maithe: "There is much we don't understand in this world but I believe I can help you understand most"
With that final comment Maithe passes Matt a piece of paper with "Fortune's always hiding, 060906 Tabor East" Maithe then turn runs them vanishes in the blink of an eye.
Matt ponders this note handed to him, "hmmm 060906.... Tabor East, what's 0609? I will sleep on it"
The next day at work the penny drops 060906, 6th September '06 at Tabor East that's 2 weeks away. There was much he wanted answering, since his conversation with Maithe Matts mind begun to wonder what is it he is speaking of "There is much we don't understand in this world but I believe I can help you understand most" has he planted this phrase in my mind to get me thinking? How did he know what I was feeling?
The two weeks passed very fast, soon it was 5th September since the brief yet influential meeting with Maithe, Matt became subdued to the outside world he stayed in pondering his own questions, he HAD to go to Tabor East tomorrow he didn't know where or what time but he decided he will skip work and go.
6th September
Matt could hardly sleep with all the questions buzzing around his head, he didn't feel himself, he made his way to Tabor Park and there sat on a swing was Maithe
Maithe: "I knew you would come"
Matt: "so it would seem"
Maithe: "I have a place we can go and discuss the situation you have found yourself in follow me"
Matt: "ok lets go, you intrigue me" They head to the West of Tabor to a tall building, Maithe takes Matt to the very top of the building.
Maithe: "So fire away just, think before you speak"
Matt: "How did you find me?"
Maithe: "I didn't, you found me.... You drove my attention to you, you stand out umong your piers"
Matt: "I don't see how that is possible I keep to myself, I mind my own business"
Maithe: "That you do, but it is your fighting Prowess that drew me to you, after 6 months you show the ability of a master"
Matt: "what can I say I train hard"
Maithe: "Yes this training hard has lead you to realise something hasn't it"
Matt: "Im not sure what you mean"
Maithe: "when you spar you know what people are going to do before they do, you can "see" it coming"
Matt: "Yes that is true but that is due to their body movement all good fighters know this... don't they?"
Maither: "No it is something more than that, im not sure if you are ready for what I would like to tell you"
Matt: "well as I don't know what your going to tell me I cant be sure if I am"
Maither: "what if I told you there was more than just this world?"
Matt: "Do you mean other planets? Interstellar creatures and the like?"
Maither: "No I don't, Have you ever had a dream, that you were so sure was real. What if you were unable to wake from that dream? How would you know the difference between the dream world, and the real world?"
Matt: "I... I... I don't know are you saying, im living a dream?!
Matiher hold out 2 pills one red one blue.
Matiher: "This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back. You take the blue pill, the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to. You take the red pill and I show you what you want to know, Remember, all I'm offering is the truth, nothing more"
Matt: "What is this truth you speak of?"
Maither: "you were born into bondage, born into a prison that you cannot smell or taste or touch. A prison for your mind, you cannot be told the truth you have to see it for yourself"
Matt: "Then I shall take this Red pill"
I cant warrant paying £120 a year on online gaming anymore not with a baby on the way coupled with my kickboxing training i just wont have time and the money will be wasted, so when my account runs out Mattku & TheStig will not be active... However this is NOT good bye. I will active my account about 3 times a year if funds (and time) permit so im not going full time 
im sure you can all appreciate how hard this is for me... its like an addiction.
