Since the MxO forums will be shutting down soon, I wanted to know if there's a particular fansite that the majority of the active MxO base will be using afterwards. Stratics and Vault seem to be dead, and Rumbaar is almost deserted from what I could tell.

We'll probably want a place to form and advertise Redpill-run guilds for the major upcoming MMOs, as well as have a place to reminisce and host the screenshots that people are frantically compiling.

I resubbed on the 29th, so it looks like at least for now those of us who came back after the invisible deadline are being reinstated.

Even though I'm "Jacked Out", I still retain my powers of posting, editing, and PMing! Using my powers outside of the Matrix is but the first step. The prophecy given by The Oracle fortells that I will lead the remnants of the MxO playerbase to the promised land of peace!

I have to vent somehow. This situation sucks.

Like many many other players, my MxO launcher is telling me that my station account doesn't include an active subscription to MxO, even though I was just jacked in earlier tonight.

Got a huge amount of storyline catchup to do (and probably farming...ugh).

Anyone up for making a simple "support the Tetragrammaton" sig that we can all use for the next day or so? Would help get the message out to the rest of the boards.

Once again, every time I click on any news item on DN1, I come up with nothing but a blank field.

I know this happened to a lot of people including myself a little while ago. Is it back for anyone else?

I took this during Boxfest. I think it could make a really cool
background/sig if it could be edited to hide the low-rez-ness and the
damage numbers. Since y'all love to enhance screenshots, thought
I'd drop it in here and see what happens.

Anyway, not the best res graphics cause I turned them down to
compensate for the lag. Still cool.

First off, thanks are in order to the Devs who obviously put in a lot of work designing the new textures, objects, etc that made this event possible. The new actions on the searchlights were very cool, and the Security personnel were the toughest mobs I've ever encountered.

I believe I speak for the majority of players when I say the final day of this event was a letdown. After a sublimely crafted buildup involving all our favorite LET characters, what we ended up with was a 6+ hour marathon of killing mobs, without even a differentiated finale. We spent hours and hours killing the Security and shutting down the spotlights, only to have them reconstruct and reactivate. Some of us discussed in vain what clue we could be overlooking, what clever action would finally end the cycle. Then, without any prompting or explanation, the Architect tells us that this time when we shut down the spotlights, it will somehow end the scourge of the Sleepwalkers. Oh and by the way, the Security won't reconstruct anymore either, just for convenience’s sake.

There was no thought involved, no requirement except that we once more do the job we'd been doing for the past six hours. No player or group of players precipitated the end by their actions, it just happened at a specified time. Events should be more than just an endurance test without a point. None of our work for the majority of the event meant anything. We could've just hung out at Mara until the Architect decided it was time for the Security to not reconstruct anymore.

Hey everyone. When my MxO account expired, I ran into a little problem on the Matrix Forums too - I can't use them. But I did say I will see you all on the boards, and I will keep that promise. But you wont see me, unfortunately. Sorry about that. I thought I'd still be able to use the forum.

I do want to say a few things now that I'm gone though. First of all, thank you all very much. It wasn't until I joined Linenoise that I really started enjoying MxO. And everything has gotten so great with all the RPs lately that I'm really sorry I have to miss anything.

But I will be back. And since I will be back, I expect you all to keep Syntax as awesome as it is.

It's not going to be possible for me to name all of the people who have made my time in MxO, so far, so great. So I'm not going to. But I will say that if you've interacted with me, you've helped. Because there is not a single person who I've met who I don't like.
