With MxO's imminent ... murder, I'm sure many of you have been thinking about where you will be going MMO-wise. There really is A LOT coming out in the near future, so where are you headed?

Fortunately I was lucky enough to get my hands on a beta code for the Call of Duty: World At War Multiplayer Beta. I must say, I wasn't expecting much but It turned out to top CoD4 IMHO. Curious on what your thoughts are on it. Also: anyone els here have the beta? Post your Gamer Tags if so!

I'm surprised a thread hasn't already been started about this. The game looks amazing, 50 sq/km freeroam game area, awesome fire and explosion affects, etc, etc. I know I want it.

As much as I love MxO, I think it's about time to say goodbye. I've cancelled my subscription, but i do still have a little more time on it for me to jump in and tell some of you to take t easy via Ki-Charged Foot Sweep

, but I wanted to at least write this. I've met a lot of really cool people durring my time on this server, and the ironic thing is I started out disliking most of the people I grew closest to. From the Snobby Furious Angel named RoganClark to the "LOL MKT NUB" spammer named Brommerz, you've all turned out to be really fun people to game with. I've had more fun with fellow players in this game than I expected before I first played this. From drunken Karioki on ventrilo to popping the spawn pumpkin durring Dark Evolution's championship durring the halloween event ( <3, Manatik ) I've had a hell of a lot of fun. I may resub some time later on, but I couldn't say for sure. Much love to network imperium and the rest of Vector.

The other day I made a sad attempt to try and mission a second character to 50. Not a huge deal as most who have more than one 50 might say, but when i think of how slow leveling is, rather, how slow it feels with the monotonous mission structure, and constant "same ol', same ol'" grinding, I realize that there really isn't a point to having an EXP gain system that takes so long...I'm not bashing the game itself for this, but it's true that there really isn't enough Mid-level content to justify how long it takes to level to 50. To cut to the chase; Is it only me that thinks EXP gain should be increased?

1) like I said before, there really isn't enough mid-level content to justify such a long, drawn out leveling process.

2) It would allow all players to experience the community on other servers more easily.

3) A huge percentage of the people I know that ended up quitting this game quit because it was taking so long to level, and they got bored of it. They couldn't experience the excitement of being level 50, and being able to successfully participate in Events or just all out PvP. It's like the game's main hook is at the end.

4) If leveling takes less time for the newcomers and they get hooked on to MxO that means more Money for SOE, and more money income for SOE, means MxO gets more attention, and more attention from SOE means- Hell, I think you get the picture.

I just want to know how the community feels about this. Weather you agree or disagree with certain posts in this thread, i'd like to make this a serious as possible and to avoid flaming to keep this thread on topic.

I don't actually know if it exists, but I thought I'd check here if anyone has run into them. I'm looking a for one of the new sets of level 50 dual handguns or dual SMGs with + daze chance. And a new pair of dual handguns with + chance to off balance.

Alright. For the sake of taking Bad *CENSORED* looking screenies and having a beautiful Megacity to view for filming, I have a few questions for some of you more...savvy MxO players? I'm starting to learn a little bit about Custom config myself, and I was told about Bazman's X4.00 settings. I swapped 'em for the normal settings and the game looked UNBELIEVABLE. Only one problem, It lags like nuts. I have a semi-hefty system: 3gigs RAM, NVIDIA 8800 GT 512 mb, Vista (<------The devil told me to buy it, I swear!), but even with all this it lags and even sometimes crashes. Are there lines within the config that I can edit to allow the game to load more buildings and whatnot without making it seem like I am watching something barely faster than a slide show while I play? Or are these settings not meant for fluent gameplay with ANY computer? o.O Any help would be appreciated.

P.S. The reason I posted this here is because I figured more people who visit this topic would know about it. (and this isn't really a technical difficulty, more of a desperate curiosity )

Alright. I'm hoping to sort this out when I get home this afternoon. Yesterday MxO worked fine. This morning I downloaded the Holloween patch and tried to log into the game only to get stuck on the last part of the loading bar that says "loading character" Anyone know how to fix this?
