Here's a convo I have talking to Vogt/Harpalos where I brought it up:

me: Here was a good line today, Harkee one of the zion liaisons, we run missions together a lot
  Harkee: I think you should do an event where you unexpectedly kiss Vogt.
Harpalos: huh huh
  For which reason?
me: Well, she starting going on about how she thought tygr looked like a pimp, and I had to correct her
Harpalos: Pimp?
A long coat and some shirt? everyone is dressed like that
me: I don't know
  She's the first to tell me that
Harpalos: And that lead to kissing Vogt?
 me: Because, I explained that no, Tygr wouldn't have a jury full of girls in bikinis, he's g ay
And I mentioned he had a crush on Vogt

  That makes me laugh everytime
 me: Harkee: If you ever leave LESIG for any reason, I think you should go out in a big g ay bang!

  And then we wondered if the Kid would be a homophobe

I thought the second group was much improved, they knew more what they were getting into, while the first group had a lot of people who weren't up to the task, hence the need for the recruitment because so many had stepped down/disappeared from the first group. One good thing about the 2.0 group is that it brought in a lot of diversity, Rare had made a point of recruiting people who could cater to different timezones. And we even had people of different native tongue, which was interesting!

It's really been liberating to come out and show ourselves, even for those who knew who we were anyway. I want to say also to those people, I truly thank you for still playing along and keeping the knowledge of our identities to yourself.

It's great now to be able to explain the things that we could never have really before.

I have my honest excuse now to you Syntax EPN, remember when the unofficial EPN Relay website was shutdown, and Novalux and I promised to make a new official one? And all you got were lame vague excuses about how we were working on it and it wasn't ready yet? Well, I had it all ready, I had the layout and the theme all picked out and even created a nice header (I think it's nice at least :P) and had all the database files to have the official message boards hosted (yes we could have gone with just a free message board online, but I was wanting more the control and safety of us (Lesig) having it all on our end). The final issue was then that I couldn't get a hold of our ex-member olink, who had control of the 01mainframe website, to help me upload it. I had been able to get in touch with him originally, and he gave me ftp access to the domain, but then I was having trouble with something and couldn't reach him to help straighten it out. :/ So I'm sorry you guys. It was something I was really excited about, but never got to make it happen.

I have only a few vague images that I had to show how it looked when I was creating it. Emphasis on the very vague and not showing much at all. :( I wish I had taken more pictures.

I'm posting a lot and some of these are big but it's the end of the world anyway so I don't care.

That reminds me of another bluepill blooper I was part of once; myself and another Sig'er were filling in as bluepill scientists for a Merv event on Syntax. We were on team with the Merv liaisons and I forget who else. Anyway, the other bluepill scientist and I were waiting for the players to finish fighting mobs and come back to us. Someone on our team killed a spawn that was close enough for us to get XP - so players rush in to see these two bluepills level up suddenly. There was this awkward silence and then people started filling the area chat with 'gratz!'.

Please don't link to that video. That video was one of the biggest stress factors for us in the original group and the other members may not wish to be outted like that. :s

That was just from reading it.. and then now after listening to it.. oh god. I could barely breathe and I was crying in hilarity and it was a good thing my flatmates weren't around because they would have been really concerned to see me like that.

You though, you know what I think of you, though you prefer to stay behind the scenes on things, you were a creative genius, able to think up crazy schemes on the fly, and you offered the community lots of puzzles and mental challenges. You should be especially loved for your Jokers, who were so awesomely mysterious that people actually thought Chadwick was behind them. (I'm sure Paul was flattered. :P)

And while I'm thinking of the long-lasted originals, if Lesig's great cheerleader would reveal herself, she ought to be thanked for giving great morale to the group and providing lots and lots of smileys. :)

I was one of the original Lesig members, and though I stepped up to take a liaison position when it was needed, I wasn't really cut out for the job, I'm really quite spotlight-shy! I really didn't like doing events, it made me really nervous to have everyone watching me. I tried though! I stayed a lot longer than I should have in my liaison role, because I really did like my character.

A lot of people found who I was from the first leak.. I played the Syntax EPN Tygrvason. When I stepped up to play a liaison, it was back before the ruling that you couldn't be a liaison on your home server, and so I just stuck to Syntax because I didn't expect to ever create characters on other servers really. Being on the same server though made things really stressful after the leak however. :/And oh, I can finally say, thanks and sorry for having to put up with my nearly unreadable font color that Tygr used in chat, I just couldn't seem to part with it. Someone told me they remember it originally being purple, I don't remember, but it's possible. :P Until it finally got to the characteristic-serious-business-dark-gray people remember.

But anyway, I really enjoyed roleplaying as Tygr, let me open my binder here (yes I had a binder :P) and give you a tease of some of my notes on players:

I want to thank everyone who cordially played along with me in character and well, also to apologize for not being a better public leader kind of person, heh, which is what was really needed! But thanks for the good times and experiences, I really did enjoy playing my character and interacting with you all,  SEPET, you are the most enthusiastic person I've ever seen, you were always a pleasure, Gami, you were the perfect go-to guy for me, and Othinn, man, you have no idea, I was terrified of you, you are scary how well you track us! And Havocide, I wondered if you maybe had a crush on Tygr for a while, but sorry, he had interests elsewhere..

Which brings me to my next point, to reveal finally my little secret ;)

Very very few people in LESIG knew this, but.. Tygrvason was g a y! :O

And he had the hots for.. Vogt! Scandalous! :O

Poor Vogt, having to deal with that (no, Vogt's character was not g a y, as far as I knew) so thanks to his player for playing along with that!

Vogt is also one of the Lesig members I keep in touch with after fading away from the game, it was he who pointed me to this thread, saying he wished he could reply! He cancelled his account as soon as Rarebit announced he was leaving, since that basically meant the end of Lesig. I’m only still a subscriber because I had an annual subscription plan, so I couldn’t quit if I wanted! :P Anyway, since Vogt can’t reply, for him, I will reveal:

The great Vogt was played by Syntax’s Harpalos! Vogt did a hell of a lot in Lesig, and I know he has a lot of fans, you have him to thank for the whole Hovercraft Battle thing and all his great events. I was lucky enough to play a part in one of his events, I played the chick with purple hair who was the Unlimit Weiss’s girlfriend, who at the end, with no one else watching, Shinryu shot her dead ;P. That was really fun, and thanks Shinryu for making a good secret end!

Anyway, although I didn’t do much, I did really love the Lesig community and my greatest contribution was probably making silly drawings, which I’ll share with you all now. :]

The event that Novalux and I did where Itarrot was introduced, it was pretty terrible, I was lost basically the whole time, and Novalux had trouble getting onto the building, he kept over jumping.

Are you sure about this? On the Dark Evolution website it states the faction as a Vector faction.

They were born on Vector but some of the members are grinding on Syntax.
