I'm not even sure if it'll work, but I'm trying to install the game on the new computer so I can get it off of my laptop.
This is what I'm getting.

Comments, suggestions?

Welp, this is it. I'm outta here. I'll be here till the end of the Christmas event as my alt, and Rosincrantz made her last appearance the other night. I'm getting pretty frustrated with everyone and everything, and I think it's just best to get out while I'm ahead. I might still do an RP exit on the boards, but it's starting to look very unlikely...thanks for a great few months, guys. I'll still be around on xfire.
Special goodbyes to: Asamodai, Tsusai, Phrack, Ebola, Mave and Atratus.
This is just doing nothing for my nerves!!
Love you guys.
Rosi.

Hey guys!
Between City of Heroes/Villains and being pretty seriously sick, I haven't been able to find much time for mxo lately. I'll still be around, I'm not canceling or anything, but I won't have too much time for the RP stories I was involved with. I'm just...not feeling the Matrix right now. It's nice to go into a game and be totally unknown and not have anyone love or hate me.
I'll be on xfire as always if anyone needs me!! The name's rosincrantz of course. =P
Love, hugs n' kisses,
Rosiposi

Give those back, you bastard.
The thief looked bewildered as the tan, black-clad man glowered menacingly at him. "Give what back?"
My sunglasses. Those were expensive, and I want them back. Now!
"To hell with you, man," the thief took a few steps backwards, but the ghostly man in black was faster. Two slashes with his hands. Dead.
He retrieved his sunglasses from the thief's jacket and put them back on his nose, staring at his nails. "Well, that's gonna be a dead giveaway, ain't it pal?" He grinned at the body. "Er...careful, you're gonna bleed on my shoes." He took a couple steps back and started to chew ferociously on his nails, trimming them down to a normal length.
"Now." He said, pushing the lenses up a bit. He withdrew a list from his pocket. "Time to find 'em."

I've noticed that some of the sitting positions for females (maybe males too, I don't know, I don't have a male character) have some strange little glitches when we're sitting. I was on AlphaVIOLET in /mood sultry today, and noticed that one of her feet was submerged in the ground, and it drove me absolutely insane. Is there anyway little things like this could be fixed? Also, /sitting in mood shy causes a strange lump to appear on my characters' legs...hrm...

I can't get into the Camon areas due to a strange barrier that I just bounce off of, and several hard lines are down. Region server area? Are we fixing this? Thanks!

((Because everyone else is doing it, and I like Rosie's awakening to be shrouded in mystery, here's a story about my alt!))
Bathary
"Lex, hold up!" Sharon called, holding her gown up to skip across the puddle. Alexis turned around and giggled at her, and Sharon huffed, pushing her crown up on her head. "I don't think they'd be happy about their prom queen out here puddle dancing."
Alexis rolled her eyes. "C'mon, it's fresh air. Besides, they won't find us way out here! And god knows our parents sure won't miss us."
Alexis and Sharon were stepsisters, but had been best friends for years before Lex's mom married Sharon's dad. Neither girl really cared for their parents, but they were thrilled to be living together, sharing each other's dreams.
"What a night, huh?" Alexis chirped, scaling some of the shipping crates down by the water. Sharon groaned and followed her up, her hair falling flat. Alexis continued. "You and Nick looked wonderful together. I can't believe Terry won prom king though."
"Omigod, conspiracy!" Sharon agreed. "He looked absolutely like a vampire, didn't he?"
"You looked so funny dancing with him," Lex said thoughtfully. "But the way he acted was even weirder than that."
"Mm. He was supposed to be dancing with me, but he was staring at you. I think Scary Terry has a crush!" Sharon teased, poking her sister.
"No way, that look was predatory. He wanted to get me alone and eat me." The girls both laughed and spoke with Transylvanian accents for a few moments before the laughter died away.
"I wish you would have danced though," Sharon said.
"I did!" Lex gave her an offended look.
"I mean with someone! Your lame butt wouldn't even get up for the slow songs!"
"I told you, Sharon, I'm not dancing with anyone until my wedding night," she giggled a little.
"Okay dork, we're not talking about your virginity here. And I'm the Baptist! You guys are allowed to dance, we aren't!" Sharon rolled her eyes.
"I'm just waiting for perfection. The perfect night," Lex said, looking dreamy.
"You'll be waiting a long time then, Lex, because there's always going to be something to screw it up."
There was a pause, then Lex grinned. "Like Scary Terry!"
Both girls roared in laughter, and Sharon nearly tumbled from the crate.
"Okay, okay, I get it." Sharon took her hand and slid back onto the ground, Lex landing next to her. "We should be getting home soon. It's dark out."
Alexis nodded and the two girls started back toward the subway. Sharon tugged her hand suddenly, pointing to one of the warehouse's roofs. "Lex, look."
Lex obeyed and looked up, a confused look spreading on her face.
On the roof, a man and a woman were horsing around, wrestling, laughing and yelling at each other.
"...right Rosi, should be popping up sooner or later. Just chill out, would you?"
"I don't understand why we're sitting here, waiting around for them, Oleb." The woman took her hat off and shook out her bright red hair, tying it back into a bun again. "It's boring."
"I dunno, they just said something about collecting the codes, let's go, huh?" He chuckled, taking a swipe at her.
She fought back, laughing. "Oh snap, Oleb, here they are." The woman looked out in Lex and Sharon's direction, startling the girls. Lex whipped around to see what the woman was looking at.
"Oh god," they heard the man say. "Rosi, there're blues down there!"
"What?!"
Lex was staring at the thing behind her. It was huge, and made up entirely of flies and black smog. It's arms swung terribly back and forth, and it was closing in quickly on the girls.
"RUN!" The woman screamed. She jumped off the roof, and Lex instinctively ran toward her.
Then, she felt something rip.
She looked down at her feet and willed them to move, but they wouldn't. She looked up at the woman, panicked, but suddenly, her vision ceased. Alexis dropped to the ground, dead, her body morphing into something awful.
//////////////
"Get to the hardline! Get out of here!" Oleb yelled, calling their operator, Channel, from his phone.
"Oleb, what the hell was that?!" Channel shrieked, panicked.
"I'll tell you as soon as you get Rosie out of here and you get me uploaded!"
Channel obeyed and rang the hardline, pulling Rosincrantz out, and started the upload to bring Oleb back into the ship's mainframe.
In a few moments, Rosincrantz sprang out of the chair and ran to the bridge, powering the hovercraft's engine. "Find them, Oleb!"
"I can't get a lock down on the dark-haired one, but I found the little blonde," he said through her loudspeaker. Oleb was excellent at tracking the dead...he was, after all, a former organism liquification program.
"What the hell is going on?!" Guildinstern yelled, sliding into the cockpit and strapping in just as Rosincrantz took off.
"Saving a life," Rosie snarled, daring Guildinstern to challenge her decision. The smaller woman didn't.
////////////////
They found her in moments. Rosincrantz and Oleb extracted her quickly while Guildinstern held the ship steady, all of them being careful not to be detected.
They pulled the girl onto the barge, and Rosincrantz lifted her easily and carried her quickly into the other room. "We have three minutes to get oxygen to her brain before premanent brain damage is sustained!" She called.
Guildinstern immediately started CPR as Rosincrantz looked for something electrical to jump-start the girl's heart.
"This isn't med school, Rosie, you can't screw up here!" Oleb called from the intercom. Rosincrantz ignored him. She gave the girl a shock and Guildinstern continued CPR. After a moment, the girl choked and sputtered, gasping for air. She lapsed back into unconsciousness, but she breathed.
"She's stable. Warm her up and put her on life support," Oleb said, his voice softer now.
///////////////
It was nearly a month before the girl woke up. "Where...?" she said blearily.
Channel, who had been sitting in the room, buzzed Rosie and Guil and brought Oleb out of standby.
"Hi sweetie," Rosie said when she saw Lex, tears filling her green eyes. Her face was the same as Lex remembered, but her hair was a light, feathery blonde and her lips weren't shocked purple. "What's your name?"
"Lex...uh, Alexis Renyolds." With help, she sat up. "Who are you guys?"
Rosincrantz went around the room, pointing people out. "That's Josie Moore, or Guildinstern as we call her here, Macio Andrews, or Channel, the program you can hear speaking at times--"
"Me," Oleb interjected from the loudspeaker.
"--is Oleb, and I'm Constance Borden, or Rosincrantz."
Alexis looked overwhelmed. "What is this place?"
Rosincrantz and Guildinstern exchanged looks and started to explain. What should have cleared things up caused confusion and agony, and from pain, loss, and sadness, AlphaVIOLET was born.
To be continued...

Rosincrantz's heels clicked on the pavement as she hurried through Moriah, curious Crossbones looking at her, careful not to make eye contact. The woman located the building that she had previously agreed on with the one she was meeting and approached the door, but her hands were unfortunately full. She whipped around. "You."
"M-me?" The unfortunate-looking Crossbones Tar stuttered, pointing at himself. "I didn't do anyth-"
"I just need you to open the door for me," Rosincrantz said, a note of amusement in her voice and a smile tugging at her lips.
The Crossbones looked infinitely relieved and turned the knob, opening it for her.
"Thanks," Rosincrantz chirped, heading into the building. She crossed the hall and knocked at one of the doors with her foot, shifting the things she carried carefully. There was a shuffle of movement on the inside, a loud bang as if someone had tripped, and a snarl of frustration. Finally the door swung open and a flustered Lupine Scrapper grinned at Rosincrantz bashfully.
"Sorry, Rosie. I'm a little jumpy."
"Edelle," Rosincrantz breathed thankfully, kissing the creature on the cheek. She moved to set down the bag and hugged him, the Scrapper lifting her off her feet easily. "Thank god."
"What'd you bring?" He asked, setting her down and sniffing at the bag. "Smells good."
"Coffee for both of us, and a ham sandwich for you," Rosincrantz said, opening the bag and handing the food to the Lupine who immediately devoured it.
"Fank gawd," he said, his mouth full. "Bin wivin' om scwaps fo' a monf."
"Chew first, talk later," Rosi said, her nose wrinkled. She sat down at the table and kicked her feet up. "How've you been, Edelle? How's the pup?"
"Which pup?" Edelle asked after he'd swallowed. "There's like, five of 'em now."
"The littlest pup."
"Vince. He's doing great, looks just like me." The Lupine puffed his chest out a bit, obviously proud of himself. "Don't worry about it though, he's safe where he is. They all are."
"Had to ask, he's a cutie. How are you?"
"Hungry. Bored." The Lupine started on the coffee, melting against the counter in pleasure. It was obvious he hadn't had anything warm in him for a while either.
"I'll try to come by more often," Rosincrantz murmured.
"Nevermind me, Rosie, how are you?" He tilted his head curiously. "Heard you're with an EPN now. They kill our kind you know, what are you thinking?"
"Asamodai? He won't touch you. No one will."
"He's good to you?"
"Better than any Merv boys have been." Rosincrantz sniffed indignantly.
"EPN though, Rosie...sounds dangerous," Edelle looked a little timid, a small pout forming on his lips.
"What's dangerous is coming here and meeting with an exiled program who is supposed to be dead," she grinned, reaching out to ruffle his hair. "No one's hassled you, right?"
"Of course not. I've been laying low." He trailed off as Rosincrantz phone started to ring incessantly. She ignored it the first time, but it just rang again.
She held a finger up and opened her phone, holding it up. "Yep."
"Rosie?" It was Asamodai.
"Hey baby. What's up?"
"Why didn't you answer your phone the first time, is everything all right?"
"Didn't hear it. Yeah, I'm okay." Rosie watched Edelle creep out of the room, careful not to make any sounds.
"Wanna go somewhere?"
"Sure, I'll meet you in Camon, baby." She hung up. "Ed, I gotta go." She stood up and the Lupine nodded.
"I'll go out the back. You'll be all right?"
"Mmhmm. Listen, I'll see you Saturday, okay? Right back here."
The Lupine nodded and hugged her again. "All right. Bye, Rosie!" The Lupine opened one of the windows and leaped out. Rosincrantz rolled her eyes. "Men."
She stood up and gathered her things, leaving the room and then the building. The Crossbones that had held the door open for her was standing there, his face reading like someone who was caught doing something he wasn't supposed to.
"You listened," the red-head snarled.
"I-I-I d-didn't mean to-!"
Rosincrantz raised her handgun to the exile's face and fired, sending shards of bone, blood, code, and something slimy all over the concrete. "Anyone else eavesdropping on me?!" She snarled. A few other gang members shook their heads and fled, leaving Rosincrantz thankfully alone.
"Jesus H. Christ, how hard is it to mind your own god-blessed business around here?"
