I've been a solid avid Pro PC gamer for a while.

I messed around and picked up a 360 and so far so good. I mean It's really a PC as you all know. Bios/ Hard Drive/ Graphics/ Memory/ USB/ Heat (problem with all video cards)

I think what adds value that most people don't talk about is XBOX Live, and Windows Vista compatability. I was one to never buy the highest end video cards anyways. So i've always ran last years hottest model on my PC. With the 360 I think I'm indulging a little in great graphics. My network detected the 360 within seconds and my Media Player Library is accessable via Media Center Extender within mins.

Back to the 360

I downloaded around 30 demos the same night I purchased the XBOX! (From a library of around 100+ playable downloadable demos) From 1GB in size and less they didn't take long at all. And I don't have the money to try all the games out by purchasing them, so It was exciting for me. It's such a good concept to be able to play games you consider buying. Also they have other downloadable content such as HD Videos (Superman HD)... and stuff like that. Also you can download TV shows... all at your expense thou.

The key to all of that, is that IP tv can be easily intergrated into MS's hardware. And with all of the problems with television proviers providing PC HD-Hardware. MS might just bypass them all and ... I just might subscribe to the IPTV service if it saves me some money. (Hopefully like VOIP did to the Phone providers)

Also I was looking for a DVR with Media Streaming capabilities and a good DVD player... what do ya know. Xbox 360 does them all. And if you have a Media Center PC it becomes the best component. Especially with the latest and greatest Vista Ultimate Edition. I even impressed my wife who is a part of the anti-husband gaming alliance (joking) with the 360.

My living room went from a Media sytem stack of CD Player/ DVD Player/ Dish Network Reciever. to Just my Xbox 360.

I'm rambling, I'm just a little impressed. My first idea was to build my own Media Center PC, but hey, this saved me some dollars.

I've learned people don't like to loose, but that is also human nature. I mean nobody really likes to loose. I find glory in getting a CQ when the healers are healing, and the zerg is attacking, and they just can't seem to kill you before you collect that CQ. I played with this load last night and liked it. Of course it has pro's and cons. But has anyone else noticed the weakness of most loads is the fact that you cannot load thrown and ballistic defense?

Yeah I don't know if anyone said this but if you use the ability to increase your resistance 75 points. I've seen doT's doing 7dmg. This one seems to be figured out pretty good.

This CR2 is kicking my butt so far... Havent found my niche(currently trying out ma)

But dag, I didn't even get honerable mention. I guess because 7K of the cq's were before I left pre CR2 for a 6 month break.

I also believe that stealth movement speed is a belief attribute. But remains unaffected by the increase of this stat.

People who hold down the interlock key. Get a bugged bonus of interlock attempts. 2-3 even 4

Hold it down and repeated attempts at interlocking a person are made. (Thus the animation of multiple interlock attempts, SPAM on your screen "Resisted...Resisted....Resisted" ) This allows people to break shields in 1 attempt if used correctly. Sometimes they will break it and interlock you in the same animation.

Devs Please fix.

Ohh My, the hackers keep getting weaker and weaker. I mean they nurfed Vector Infect area 2.0 to 50 dmg. Any lvl 50 will absorb 1/2+ of that and regen the rest even before the next pulse of the infection. Try launching any hacks after using upgrade attacks- maybe 3-4 with a 20 second duration. I mean they just lowered the ability to fight in interlock, it's almost near imposible for anyone to roll out of interlock. So now everyone join the MA club. Everyone will now be MA's/Gunman/Operative.

While playing CR 2.0 I was happy when they fixed the reuse timer of upgrade attacks. It was almost impossible to launch any barrage of attacks prior to running out of "Accuracy" boosting power. Also any Hacker must go down the Arb Tree to even load this ability taking more memory away from other useful abilities.

Now it's going to be nurfed again... 20 seconds of hacking. Come On!!

My evade takes two hits as a hacker with blur on. I get interlocked and am going to suck now, and will quickly die.

Well we shall see how much more diversity is added due to these changes.

It seems as if the matrix community wishes for a hacker free server. I don't believe this will happen. I have been solely playing as a hacker on the test server. So far the only two trees worth anything are the ballista/and possibly howitzer. The "vector abilities do no dmg, and the other trees are debuffs"

My only survival on the matrix with CR2.0 now lies in the usage of a team. Standing by myself hacking in Mara C quickly gets me killed.

Out of interlock hackers get hit alot and can barely cast without heavy concentration loaded. Melee/Throw/Ballistic dmg makes it hard to cast hacks that take 2-5 seconds to throw.

In interlock, you could not really compare Viral Accuracy vs. Melee Accuracy, when there are no abilities to increase viral accuracy. MA specials almost always out roll a hacker- but it seems as if a hacker hacks/ in Interlock when the opponent fails to roll a special, the hacker will win.

So there are two sides to this.

Everyone complained about the evade shield. As a hacker it is almost impossible to get out of interlock. Now the 3 hits to break a shield, the hacker would virtually be unable to cast in a crowd of enemies. Is that what you want?

If the hacker rolls are put against a ma "accuracy" or "defense" the hacker will now be useless.

I would imagine with the 3 defense scores now, a team of melee, balistica, and throw accuracy will easily take down the most buffed hacker.

Something needs to be done, but getting rid of the hacker tree would make this game less interesting.

Possibly make a small "Viral Deflection Buff" Oh yeah that exists already. Well...

I kinda expected some responses on the: "Hack Access Node" /Make Area Hostile" concept. Don't you think this would help PvP????

I nominate myself "NicodemusX" as one of the most skillful players: Of course some people don't believe it, but answer me this, who else have you dueled and lost to using a Proxy loadout???

As far as I know, I originated the loadout, and am probably the best using it.

Well this doesn't mean i'm the best, but I think I have utilized a unique tree in this game.

Hello everyone, to my friends to my enemies. Peace and Prosperity to you all.

I think the post by Pr0x was great. One thing we need to ask ourselves is what can we do to make this game better.

I really don’t believe in the combat revision 2- mainly because it is not understandable, and the 2nd thing is that it doesn’t really add excitement to the game. A few new features, but no real skill based combat enhancments. (New names for attributes) and a new mathmatical equation to rolls with a few new graphics.

A few ideas I submit to the developers for really helping this game:

1. Flagging Rezzers would be a good solution, but seems to be useless since the Endless have left.(Vector need not apply)

2. Making spies invisible mode what it used to be. (Let them run) It used to be hard to catch those assassins. (Makes PvP fun for 2 on 20) - Just need to catch 1 person away from the crowd to add a smile to their face.

3. A “special item” that would allow people to Hack the Data Node and create everyone in a district Red. I like Vector’s philosophy of Hostile Mode, but think this should be a implemented in some aspects to recursion. (Sorry Dev's I didn't know what Hostile ment when I created my Character)

4. District controlled Info/XP While your team/faction… holds a district flagged they gain a continuous amount of XP. A great team philosophy would have low levels in this hostile area for info gains, while the high levels try to protect the area. The number of flagged users in a district would determine “District control”. It would create a hunt through the matrix for Hostile Activity With the Old Spy invisibility, there would be scouts thought the matrix, adding for unique player created events. I think Vector guys would even like this added to their server.

5. I would also consider another world merge. Our server has dropped from “VERY HIGH” to “MEDIUM-LOW” and I don’t believe it’s due to server capacity upgrades.

There is really nothing to fight for anymore. After PvPing for 6000 CQ’s this has honestly have become less appealing (mainly because of MXO mastery). (Possibly with the changes I request the game will become exciting) After learning the pros and cons of most loadouts, it becomes apparent how to counter any load out. Lately I’ve been flagging alone hacking people with no Viral Deflection for fun. It’s boring, yes I suicide often to make sure I’m not flagged when I’m rezzed, rinse repeat It’s really stupid. But what do you guys do in this game for fun? Also don’t hate me, but it’s quite funny, and I only do it when I’m alone with nobody to fight with. (Everyone hates to be hacked continuosly is something i've learned- I eventually endup alone and bored again at the end of the night)

Before a few enemies start bashing me for even writing, please note: this game is getting old to me.

Also for the people who left Zion to join the other factions I respect you a lot. I would have quit a long time ago if it wasn’t for having you guys to fight. The Endless and Collective put up a great run and managed to at times squash our 70% server control. But there are also a few zionist that flag faithfully. You guys know, you guys go to Mara.

I might have been pursuaded to change sides to even the playing field, however I created a religious based character: Nicodemus: The Pharasee. I try to kick some of my true religious worldviews at times, and honestly believe this game has a lot of religious philosphies behind the movies storyline.

It’s only right Nicodemus remain with Zion. In matter of fact IRL I go to “MountZionBaptistChurch” LoL.

Just think about the logic. If I was "average" why would there be a post about me.

I've learned one thing in gaming, people hate to loose. People react in different ways when the loose, some attack verbally, some try to make things disappear with denial, few settle the score.

Props to my buddy Deathwarrant who has been one of the few PvP'ers to PvP for zion and help me collect CQ's from these role-playing guys. Must believe they are Neo and never die.

See I walk around casually killing folks, I don't know what is so surprising about that? As per the pic, IkarusChris05 got himself in a heap of trouble and challenged me to a duel. Guess what, he called his boys and used a PvP bug to flag me. Well the end result is seen here. It might not make sense to you, but I assure you people have been in this predicament before understand.

So let me tell you something about myself.

I walk these here streets cocky knowing out of the few PvP'ing Zionist on recursion and a little on the TS, I show up strong. Kill and often swing PvP.

Yes I try to play with different loadouts "Proxy+Despoiler" Yes all my critics- it still works cause I never was exploiting in the first place. Care to test the waters, just type /duel I'm just saying be prepared...

But often you'll find me in different loadouts, you know "scattershot/ karate *new"/ I got um all. (Even a lvl 50 Data Miner : ) (Might get killed with the DataMiner) (messing with me)

As for the suicide,... I hate seeing red: IT just tempts me, if you flag around me, it's disrespectful. If I have to hack you to death, I will suceed. Even if it means a few lifes lost from my puny hacker. If I had a team of people to fight with, you'll see, that puny hacker disappear and another replacment ability come out mopping my foes.

To be honest, that hack/ death hack/death thing is a tactic I learned from the PvPing the: endelss. A faction of Mero PvP'ers that will hack, and hack, and hack untill everyone leaves PvP tired of the sensless hacking.

Boring at times, but it has been funny for me to stand in the middle of mara c in the seas of Red and get 10 or so cq's in like 5-10 mins. Just watch when I come the "healers and sweepers have to come"
