Our CRM Raijinn Joel Sasaki has declined to answer or address the issues and has temporarily banned players from the forums for their part in the discussion.  This is an appeal to those who hold higher positions than he.  We are falling into dire straights and need your help.  Please, make this right.

I don't want to fight anymore, I really don't. I'm just too tired, too weary, of all the drama, and the inaction or obvious avoidance. The only thing I want are answers. Just answers. It's too much to ask for, isn't it?

Who can we go to? Who can we trust? Is there any hope left for MxO? Our problems must be addressed.

One of the main problems is the apparent, shirking away from issues.

If certain people had the testicular fortitude to actually stand up to issues and deal with them head on, we might not be in this mess. However, people in certain positions of power seem to intent on sweeping things under the carpet, silencing people by banning them, using technicalities to lock and delete threads and hoping then that the issue will disappear.

We need issues to be dealt with. Not just ignored, if the issues are ignored, the game will suffer. Raijinn is a cool guy, no doubt, buuut he's got another game to deal with. Whether that has a detrimental effect on his overall effectiveness as a CRM for MxO or not I don't know...common sense would say yes, since he's more active in general as a CRM for Planetside. Does that mean he needs to be replaced? Thats not up to me...but if it's beneficial to the game to have someone else with more time, is that such a bad idea?

Some people have been banned for excessive negativity...but in all seriousness...what does that even cover? That description is pretty vague...it basically means "if you're saying things we don't like, we're going to ban you. No matter if it's true or not" And it's vagueness has been shown with certain peoples posting rights being taken from them when they get a little vocal about certain issues.

Without offending or belittling your issue, you know you've linked the same thread like eleven times?  Half the time it's not picking up the individual post, it just goes back to the OP.

I'm aware they're all from the same thread, yes.  The links should send you to specific posts - I just checked some of them and they appear to be working fine.  If you don't get sent to a post right away, give it a little longer.  The link will load the entire page before jumping you to the referred post.  Thanks.

Ok, so me being me, decided to contact a certain individual who's basically the top of the pile in terms of the whole Sony Online PR, so who knows what I'll get on a reply...

I honestly never got the whole "excessive negativity" banning spree. Especially when the banning process stems from someone's opinion on what "excessive negativity" constitutes for them. You have fa few people that have talked bad about the game , but I think that is a result of the continual silence that has came from the powers that be. It seems the only time there is a break in the silence is when there is an opportunity to chastise or lock a thread. and the negativity just doesn't stem from the forums either.

There have been interviews with the higher ups we have read where the words "High profile failure" is associated with the Matrix Online. The fact that the powers that be don't refute the comment or even offer a counter-point to the comment doesn't exactly fill me with much confidence at SOE's level of commitment to this game. I for one do not want this game to be "swept under the rug" and forgotten. I don't see this game as a "High Profile Failure" but rather "The game of limitless potential."

The Matrix community knows that we are not in the same ranks as Everquest II or Star Wars Galaxies, but I will say that this community are made up of some of the most die hard fans I have ever come across. And the best thing I think I can say describes the community is that they love this game and want to see it become a success.

Check our forums! You see players that have informed the development teams of any glitches or problems. Threads that have offered ideas , and even offers to work on a volunteer basis, just to see this game realize its full potential. We have artwork and stories dedicated to enhance the MXO experience and even player run events just to keep things interesting. I do hope that this thread doesn't fall on deaf ears.

The person I emailed is Courtney Simmons, who's the Director of Corporate Communications and Public Relations.

She's basically as high as you can go save contacting the head cheese himself. The reason I emailed her is that she deals with all the PR stuff, and right now, we (the members of Matrix Online) are the public and our relations with SOE is getting very strained SMILEY

Do I know if I'll get a reply, no. Do I hope to hear something, of course. Will I (and others) be happy with the (potential) reply? Who knows.

In terms of a quick side point, some of the links don't always jump directly to the post that the lovely gent above has linked. That's not his fault it's the wonderful forums SMILEY

I don't care what they do, I enjoy my game the way it is and the way it's been going.  the recent banning of players from posting on forums is pretty heinous though, that is definitely NOT the way to deal with this.  Really all we want is for someone to be honest with us.  We're all tired of SOE/MxO staff putting the icing on the cake.  Stop being diplomatic and just tell us the truth because by now we can smell your BS a mile away.

Man, am I glad I saw this thread. I was justs moments away from reactivating my subscription to check out this years Halloween event. But if this is the way the community is still being treated, then I simply won't bother. I hope someone near the top of SOE does something to help this community, it deserves far better than what it's had ever since SOE took on MxO. Sadly, I don't expect anything to ever happen. So, want to ban me for negativity too, instead of actually addressing the problems and removing the very reasons that are making your paying customers "excessively negative"? Just be grateful they are still your customers the way you are treating them.

Ah, the negative aspects of airing your game's dirty laundry in a public forum.  They want more players for MxO, but then advertise the bad service they receive, and thus lose potential players and returning players.

MxO, wait it out. SMILEY  EQ had a bad slump for a bit when some community reps moved around, but recovered quickly.
