After Rarebit's departure, there was a huge uprise in player quitting, larger even than the effects of the Combat Revision. The population has suffered severely and the servers are deader than I've ever seen. Many of the hardcore players who said they would never quit left, because this is no longer the same game. It is no longer a game. It is a corpse masquerading as a project, a slap in the face to the consumers.

Even Vanguard and Planetside have developers. If players can figure out how to mod MXO by themselves, then it shouldn't be that hard to train a newbie developer to use actual tools. Stop wasting our subscription money on someone who surfs the forums all day and pretends that the "cult of personality" effect from posting with a red name means dev interaction, who calls repetitive player-submission contests "content." Content is something YOU make and WE consume, not the other way around. The role of community management is pointless when your community is bleeding away. This is bull****.

I don't know about the other games, but in MXO we're able to copy/paste chat messages through CTRL+HOME and CTRL+INSERT. It's very aggravating not being able to copy text from a station launcher window, especially when it's in plaintext format. I'm having to deal with the headache of using SL ingame and getting the SQLAUNCHER_TO_MXO_FRIENDS_LIST.PLAYER_NAME-TO-OTHER-PLAYERNAME whispers>msg just to be able to copy/paste.

Any chance we'll see this functionality in the future?

Voted San Diego.. haven't been there yet, and I've been to Vegas twice already. Once you've seen all there is to see, going back and again and again is kind of eh.

I do agree with Traga tho, it would be sweet if Noreasters got one in their vicinity sometime... but I guess that's just not in the making for 2008.

Yeah, I'm from Connecticut and I feel your pain. Whichever destination is chosen is still a long flight away for me.

Except in certain forums, which have user permissions set incorrectly. Said forums which are supposed to be dev-only also allow players to post. But I digress.

I'd like to see the aforementioned ideas, most notably Time Zone. More functionality a la Lithium would be great - being able to sort the member listing, private messages, threads, etc. by Date, Topic, User, et cetera. A bookmark system that works a la Lithium would be great too (where it shows the number of new post in a thread, but doesn't spam one's email inbox).

And once again I must reference Lithium, for I miss my posting Macros as well. While Posting Macros are more desirable for other forums, like Technical Support and Guild/Faction Recruiting on Game forums, I'm sure they could serve a valuable purpose here as well.
