I also feel that this vote is a BS. Its funny how SO MANY people vote for Vegas. I would imagine that if they did a poll without VEGAS as the location we would be having a totally different opinion about this. From what I am learning it seems SOE WANTS to steer it to Vegas. So I will say it again... Why have this poll at all. Just announce its going to be in Vegas and be done with it.

Well lets see... Hmmm some of us WENT TO VEGAS LAST FANFAIRE and would like ANOTHER location to give it some VARIETY... You know that thing that doesn't make things BORING.. Aka the spice of life... But why would I want that when I can just jump on the whole "lets do vegas again" bandwagon...

I dont disagree with SoE wanting it in Vegas. I do however feel like they have manipulated the whole "poll" thing the past couple of years. I could be completely wrong in the fact that they are manipulating it. Last year Orlando was in the lead and everyone was skepticle because for some reason they knew Vegas would win no matter what. Then the polls got "hacked" and there was around 4k+ votes on each city. So they restart the polls and Florida got half the votes of the original poll. The other city at the time (cant remember which) got like 1/4 of their original votes.

If FF does not come to Florida thats fine. But at least spread it around more. Give others a shot to go and meet the devs, hit on FV, or w/e it is people do at Fan Faire.

Hell if SOE is so keen on having it in Vegas, why even create a poll at all? If they are biased and steer the convention to Vegas, why not just announce its gonna be in Vegas and save us the frustration of thinking its even going to be held in another city. Its like every other year its in Vegas, and if my predictions are right this will be the the 2nd time its held in the same city back to back.

I really don't want to go back to Vegas, that would be kinda played out. Get a new city, and make it on the East coast. They should combine the votes and make Orlando just one date.
