Pirates cove - the Return of the old Jack's Compass!

Ahoy maties!

I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm working on a new fan site for Pirates online called Pirates Cove!
I'm hoping to launch it today, but it might be tomorrow...
Due to Cardgamingonline taking over Jacks Compass, I decided to change the name to Pirates Cove...

To Celebrate the opening, I'm hosting a design an event card contest!
So start thinking up some awesome events

There is going to be a slight delay as to when it launches, I'm still aiming for today, but it might be tomorrow or the next day...
I had some problems with the login system last night that took me a while to sort out.

But send me those fleets! no one has sent any yet

currently? just the board game. I have $0.00 right now, I'm not sure if I'll even be able to afford the next hosting fee in December...
But once I get some money, yes I would like to get back in...

Due to an underwealming amount of support and interested in the site,
Pirates cove is closing on November 1st.

I will be choosing the top entry from the contest to make and post on these boards.
Prize support has been dropped, I felt that Capn_Bludde didn't get enough promotion for it to be worth it for him.

That's too bad Sudsy, I'm sad to hear it. I was working on some fleets for your strategy section. I wonder how big the community would have to be to support an independent fan site. There are at least 200 registered users who have played in tournaments (top 200 on the site) and probably many more who haven't. I guess that's not quite big enough. I wish that SOE would do some more promoting!
