So SOE is pulling the plug on MxO. I think a lot of people saw this coming a long time ago, but what are your feelings on it?

I tried to play that game 3 different times and really couldn't get into it. To me, the grinding in that game was worse than any other MMO I've played.

/salute to any MxO players that are losing their game. I know if something like that happens to SWG anytime soon, i'll have to hide in a cave for a few years.

Some parts of MxO were fun, but the ridiculous grind was not.

Still, it had what many have wanted for SWG -- an evolving storyline. Would have been nice to see it stick around.

But hey, maybe some of the dev talent from MxO will make its way over here. Could be a nice silver lining.

In fairness, I'm surprised there was an MMO made about the Matrix, I didn't realise it had such a large following, apparently they didn't.

I agree, the storyline aspects of it were really cool, and I enjoyed watching the videos they came out with every update to watch parts of the story. Probably a little tough to do being the original intent of SWG being in the time where it is, but I'd certainly like a push to start moving forward

Its better to acknowledge that if a games not working, its not working. Rather than drawing it out. I think that its for the best.

I will. And even though I will be sad if and when SWG gets closed down. Maybe something better will come from it.

Also does this mean we get Virrago back?

Virrago is in charge of all Moderators of all the games SOE has, so in a sense no, you don't get him back, but he will always be apart of SWG.
