Right. You're free to play multiple accounts on the same system as much as you'd like. But should that make something go haywire with the clients, support would be very limited.

Though some fellow players are very masterful in this art. I'm sure they would be able to help.

While it may be possible, it's not the sort of action or set up that SOE can directly support as it's not the way the game was intended to be start up normally, at least by normal players.

But that doesn't mean a fellow player can't assist! So hopefully someone can provide some input for you better than my own fine print.

Some severs have been experiencing troubles in the past week but I don't believe that's what it is. I'd say that issue is either connection related, which some fort forwarding would help; or a UI corruption issue which may just need the base UI files deleted to get help.

Let me know if you've tried either and we can proceed from there. A PM normally works to 'ping' me if I'm not looking at the forums currently!

I've been trying to reproduce the issue so I can better check it on this end, but I haven't had much luck there. I have a few things I'd like to check for anyone having this issue to see if there is any major corrolation and we can hopefully pinpoint what exactly is causing this issue

1. Which Launcher are you using, the Station Launcher beta or the SWG Specific launcher?

2. Which type of internet connection do you have? Who is your ISP?

3. Can you give a relative date towards when this started? Was it on/near a game update?

4. If your OS is Vista, have you tried the UAC Workaround fix and all compatibiltiy/admin options?

Also, please send me a PM if you would like to paricipate in some connection tests so I can make sure that the data is actually being sent from you to us and the other way around; not dropping in the middle or being blocked off at some point.

If you're currently not subscribed to SWG and you're returning to an account you used to play - it would charge you for both the expansion and the 30 day subscription as the free 30 days is only for brand new accounts.

Sorry for all the trouble Phonelesscord - it does work with most customers but sometimes it will grey out the button upon entering the information instead of how it should be, which is the other way around.

Odd. Could you try sending one my way and letting me know when you did so I can check if it's affected in both ways?

Are you familiar with disabling any un-needed background programs from starting when Vista starts? Disabling those can often times few up some necessary rescources and let the game play better. If not, we can take a look at your system information and see if there is anythine we can pinpoint in terms of an issue that would cause all the slowdown.

Windows Vista can very commonly have problems interpreting how data should be handled when connecting to our patch servers. Please go through the two solutions below to get your issue resolved.

1. Right click on the game's icon and go to properties
2. Go to the compatibility tab
3. Click on "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and select XP Service Pack 2
4. Check "Run this program as administrator"
5. Click Apply
6. Right Click on the game's icon once again
7. Click "Run as Administrator"

If this does not work for you, please try the next section.

There are many occurrences with our patcher in which Windows Vista security software can interfere with the patching progress of our games. In this situation, it might be Windows UAC (User Account Control) that is not allowing the game to patch correctly. For the purposes of security, you will only want this feature disabled for the purposes of patching and should re-enable it after the issue has been resolved.

1. Type msconfig in the search box on the Start Menu and press enter on your keyboard.
2. Click the tools tab in the System Configuration box.
3. Scroll down the list and highlight 'Disable UAC' then click Launch.
4. Restart your computer.
5. Run the patcher.

You can enable UAC by following the steps above but highlight 'Enable UAC'

I've never seen SWG have the ability to invert the Yaw/Roll movements - I don't think there is a way to change it, unfortunately.

Can you attempt this with your second character around that area and see if you get the same crash? Please let me so if that also procures the same result.

I have a list of three methods for downloading the game + any patch files, but nothing for just the new patch files specifically.

They might - though the ticket response time would be far higher. Did they manage to get to you though?

Ouch, that's painful. Are you using a broadband connection? Cable/DSL? If so, which one and which ISP?

Is that happening both from inside the game and outside the game when submitting a ticket?

Right. The TCG itself has it's own forums which you're likely to get better support on as it's still in beta. Sorry! Hopefully you can get better help there.

Oof. Looks like I'm going to need to get the Devs aware if they aren't already. This is likely going to be something (though I don't wish it on you folks) that will take a maintenance/patch to fix.
