Some of the newer items are not bind one equip, and will stay on your corpse when you die.

The problem is when your corpse decays and goes to escrow any item you had enhancements in slots on will lose all the enhancements. And the gems and runes etc. do not go into escrow so you can re attach them. they just disappear.

Only noticed this due to a power outage and the inability to retrieve a corpse before it rotted.

This could be a very big issue for people that have upgraded and filled all the slots in their pota armor or BoD weapons.

you are attaching enhancements to armor you don't wear? Why?

Lots swap gear in and out....Situational gear, he has a valid issue i would think.

pota armor for example is not soulbound, has entchantment slots and is only no trade flagged. so it can go into escrow.

some of the new armor and weapons in game are no trade, unique. but do NOT bind on equip. as such when you die they stay on your corpse.

Workign on fixing this bug now.

The POTA trials gear loses attachments.

Yea, the server doesn't handle the enchantments well when going to escrow.  Think I have it fixed now just need to get some testing done on it.

Is there a reason why pota armor is not souldbond? It's just annoying =)

back on the starting days of vanguard there was no boe, you could bind gear with some sort of crystal which you could buy at the general good ventor

yeah back at release, as Tuek said, you could opt to make gear soulbound, so it wouldn't drop from you. The price was an untradeable item.

You could choose either have gear on you, even if you die or have gear go to your body, but you could sell it when you got an upgrade. I used it on my weapons, to prevent me from going back without weapons.

After that they introduced boe items on all and removed the item to bind items to you. Reintroducing won't serve any purpouse as you are already unable to trade no trade items and thus just making another money sink to keep it on you, after you die.

Items should either drop and be no trade or not drop and be boe imho. If we could just get no tags back. Trade everything and get rid of ....... . but that's too much to ask for . Thanks for the fix Ikik, I still don't have any of these cool items, but it would be really bad if they drop off.

BTW, still working on getting this fixed, hope to have a fix for it out next week.

Until then please be careful or don't enchant your non-soulbound items.
