You don't have to attend , you can pay for a day and not go. You wont get any physical items, just the in game items and whatever betas are given. Plus if like last year you may get EQ1 And EQ2 expansions , but we won't know about that till the fanfaire itself they hinted at that in podcast possibly happening again. Though this year you are going to get in game items for every game on your account, not jsut your main game. You have never had to physically go to get the in game items.

LOL @ what this thread has turned into. Although I don't agree with Beau very often, you have to give it to the guy for promoting the game and going against the grain - whatever that grain tends to be. He marches to his own drum. Lazaretto.

Well, currently my main (ie highest level adventuring) character is a female, so it won't be too bad. My fiance' loves everything pink, so I'm sure she will love it for her account as well. I'd rather have a Pegasus, but since I'm a causal player, that will never happen (I still don't have enough Plat coins for even a level 50 land mount ... but close).
