Threat Analysis of "Kingmaker"
BEGIN TRANSMISSION: Observation continuing on subject "Kingmaker" at this time. Preliminary analysis had indicated that the subject was a MODERATE to HIGH risk, but that assessment has been revised. Subject's recent investigations into hardline sabotage and purposeful disruptions of normal Matrix activity have elevated the risk to SEVERE. Recommend that this target be eliminated at earliest opportunity, with due force allocated to assure success. END
Overheard Transmission
To: Tyndall, Zion Control
From: Strawberry
Hey, Tyndall. Stealth has advantages, and here's one. I overheard this conversation between a couple of Exiles near a hardline junction box. They might be Merovingian flunkies. I'm not sure.
BEGIN TRANSCRIPT
One: It's true, man. I heard the Frenchman talkin' about it on the phone.
Two: When's the big hit going down?
One: I dunno. Nobody tells me stuff. But trust me, this is gonna be big.
END TRANSCRIPT
Hope that helps.

Order for Pamphlet Printing
KWICKER PRINTING
`Order #: 3263827-2187
Order Description: 30 cases, tri-fold glossy full-color pamphlets (see attached document for specifications and content).
Payment: Pre-paid
Delivery Instructions for Driver: Customer has left an address for the finished pamphlets to be delivered to. It's actually kind of a pain to get to, as it's at the airport. Follow the instructions on the attached document to the right hangar - the fellow said there would be a bunch of helicopters there so you should be able to pick it out. Just drop off the order and get back here - those guys gave me the creeps. I think they might be government agents or something.
Email re: Inventory of Unusual Substances
From: Paul Dalley
To: Salle McKay
Cc: Security Section
Subject: Re: Please see what was stolen
I've completed the inventory on Store Room #2 and there are definitely a lot of things missing. Security says they've checked the locks and can't figure out how anyone got access without the codes. Must have been a really good hacker to get the system to release the locks.
The inventory is in the attached document, but just to summarize: there are not any dangerous chemical compounds missing, just a lot of really "weird" stuff. A little of this a little of that. I can't imagine what anyone would want with most of this stuff. Let me know if you need any more information, but for now I'm just going to wait for Security to finish up and then get back to work.

Military Report to the General
OPERATION STATUS REPORT
To: The General
Current ops proceeding as planned. Minor deviations encountered, but dealt with. Still within acceptable margin of error. Hardlines scheduled for disconnect and monitoring continue to be repaired by humans at the anticipated pace. Recommend proceeding with next stage on schedule. END
Newspaper Clipping
This newspaper clipping has a story about the local weather outlined with a box drawn with red magic marker. "Local weather continues to be unseasonably clear and sunny, with spectacular sunsets pleasing local residents each evening. Meteorologists seem to agree that the sunsets are most likely caused by a volcanic eruption that occurred several weeks ago, whose ash has been carried thousands of miles by wind patterns in the upper atmosphere. But whatever the cause, enjoy the great weather while it lasts!"
Journal Entry from Morpheus
BEGIN TRANSCRIPT (Morpheus' voice, rain and traffic in the background): Finally a moment of peace. But for how long, I can't be sure. The Frenchman's threats are not empty, it seems. His men are my shadows, trailing me faithfully wherever I go, waiting for the time when their Master gives the word to be done with me. They won't find me an easy mark, but I can't be certain of success in a straight fight with them. I will have to make sure the conflict is on my terms, or the Merovingian will have his satisfaction.

Detailed Surveillance Report of a "Subject"

still unclear how the subject managed to gain access to the Matrix undetected, but it seems reasonable to presume that the Merovingian assited her parents in that regard. We have been unable to interview Rama-Kandra or Kamala to gain more information. At the present time the subject is under the protection of The Oracle and Seraph, making her very difficult to reach. We will continue to monitor for windows of opportunity.***
Captain's Log Entry from Morpheus
CAPTAIN'S LOG, MORPHEUS. ENTRY #1170: I've just returned from a scouting mission in the Matrix. It's hard to keep going on my own, but I know I'm close to something. Once upon a time I had the support of a good crew - men and women who would do the right thing in spite of Lock's orders - but those days are past. Someone has been taking down the hardlines. They want us to think it's the Machines, but I've been up close with Agents enough times to know the difference. Those are not Agents. The Merovingian is behind this, perhaps trying to maintain his stranglehold on illegal access to the Matrix, perhaps some other motive. I'm not sure. But I intend to find out.
Military Report re: Disguises
This would be a report from a junior officer intended to go up the line.
OPERATION STATUS REPORT
To: The General
Current operation has encountered unexpected difficulties. We had anticipated that disguise techniques would provide a certain timeframe of unhindered access to the required assets, but this has not proven to be the case. Disguises have not been as effective as calculated. Operation is continuing, however the timetable will require revision in order to synchronize with current operational schedule. Will send new time estimates with next regular communication. END
Field Report re: Malignant Presence
OFFICIAL ORDERS
To: All Stationed Troops
From: General Command
Attention to new orders. A malignant presence has been confirmed in the Area of Operation. All troops are to consult the latest threat assessment chart and note recommended protective measures. Necessary deterrents will be made available to all troops as soon as possible. If the threat is encountered prior to the availability of countermeasures, troops are hereby ordered to tactically withdraw if possible, report the sighting, and await orders. See Schedule 12.2.25 of your Field Operations Manual. END
