Greetings Captain,
I apologize for my slow response and the change in the point of contact
that I gave you previously, but this location is much more secure.
I do regret that your agents were able to infiltrate the Merovingian
meeting, but the security feed you were shown is helpful. I will
definitely be forwarding it on to Niobe for her review. Your vigilance
and determination, as well as your loyalty to Zion is heartwarming in
these dark times.
A word regarding the recent appearance of the black clothed figures....
While they do claim to fight in the name of Neo and bear the flag of
Zion, the Council has recognized these individuals as renegades. But,
they have issued a statement regarding this.
ATTENTION:
By order of the Zion Council, all those loyal to Zion are hereby ordered
not to engage the black clothed individuals in combat in any way, shape
or form. While they are renegades and their actions are not supported
by the Council of Zion or Zion Command, it would be foolish to try and
ignite hostilities with them.
Furthermore, Zion Operatives are asked not to assist them. While you
will not be harmed or punished by the Council or Zion Command for doing
so, helping them only encourages their actions.
