This is a transcript of The Glitch Societies meeting with Agent Pace. Only exchanges which were part of the on-going conversation are recorded.
Inter-Faction Meeting Transcript
Agent Pace: I am here to address you on some urgent issues that require our attention.
Agent Pace: The first is, as Starschwar brought up, the missing case.
CIND3R: *grabs a pen and paper to take notes*
Agent Pace: We are in the frustrating condition of having no leads on its whereabouts.
Agent Pace: All operatives are required to be on highest alert for any details concerning its location, and who currently possesses it.
Starschwar: The Oracle pointed us in the direction of the General. One of them obviously was lying
Agent Pace: And this nicely brings us to another concern of ours; the General.
Agent Pace: The Truce binds us with regards to our dealings with Zion.
Agent Pace: While we have no such Truce with the General or his men, obviously, discretion is appropriate.
d4sh: May I ask Agent Pace, have you been in touch with Agent Gray?
Agent Pace: Yes, I have, d4sh. We are in constant contact.
d4sh: Then you must be aware of our... situation.
DifferenceEngine: Agent Gray regrets not being here today, but he was otherwise engaged.
Agent Pace: Indeed, the report from the Glitch Society was both well-informed and useful. Remarkably well researched.
d4sh: Thank you very much.
Starschwar: If I may... recordings surfaced not long ago.... of Agent Gray speaking with the Cypherite Leader Cryptos...
TheTaxidermist: thats just speculation
TheTaxidermist: no offence, but all agents sound alike...
Starschwar : Of course. It could have been a fabrication.
d4sh: The latest updates will follow soon. I was contacted by Agent Gray just before this meeting and I will finish answering his final questions.
Agent Pace: Such recordings are not the subject at hand, I am afraid.
Starschwar: I appoligise for going off topic.
Agent Pace: No apologies are necessary, tesoro.
Oldskool2814: I simply want to know, all posturing aside, are we going
CIND3R: Shall we share what we have learned of some of the general's men?
DifferenceEngine: Do you speak of the toy soldiers, CIND3R?

Agent Pace: Please do, Cinder. I am particularly interested to hear of any hostilities toward our operatives.
CIND3R: We have met several

CIND3R: but it seems there is much friction between them and the followers of the merovingian
DifferenceEngine: I understand from my records that you are spying on them, correct?
d4sh: Who is? I know I am. *chuckles*
Starschwar: In my experience, they've been neutral to Machine Operatives in general... a bit rude perhaps, but nothing physical... I was invited to assist one against some exiles by a zionite...
Starschwar: Their overall skill is low, but they are learning at an impressive rate.
CIND3R: we are inquisitive about their purpose. if that is spying - then yes
Agent Pace: I would suggest that none of you help them, in any way.
DifferenceEngine: Just to update you, some reports I stumbled upon indicate that these toy soldiers know you are spying on them.
Starschwar: I did not assist as much as I did observe him firsthand.
Agent Pace: Buono. According to the same reports, they are recording information from those who assist them, somehow.
Starschwar: I know there is a security breach in this operation. I was informed by an individual called Jakeson of the Gltich Society's assignment
CIND3R: I am sorry to say with this new information that i may have assisted one of them inadvertently by answering hsi questions about certain - nature - of the matrix

Trommler: you would not be alone in that CIND3R
Starschwar: He not only knew... but knew you were to report to agents in the recursion instance.
DifferenceEngine: Keep us updated on any and all information leaks.

d4sh: Lots of people have gotten in touch with me, asking questions about Agent Gray. Also this operative called Jakeson, but I know little about him.
Starschwar: He claims to want to "liberate" all sentient life... a sort of anarchist.... I've been infiltrating his little group.
Agent Pace: This is indeed troubling. We shall require heightened security from all operatives.
Starsch war: I've provided him with no information that isn't already well known... he asked me to find the glitch society's headquarters... he suspected a site in lamar.
DifferenceEngine: Is Jakeson a threat?

Starschwar: He is weak, but his followers are quite powerfull.... one, Mediatorus has one of the Assasin's masks.
Starschwar: Ma'am, Do you wish me to send you copies of emails I have recieved from Jakeson? or should I send them to Differnceengine?
DifferenceEngine: Ah the Assassin. Fortunately, I wasn't around for that nasty PR problem.
Agent Pace: Ah yes, perhaps this is the perfect time to introduce our new associate.
Oldskool 2814: Agent Pace, you said earlier that we must be carful in our contact with The Commandos/Zion because of the truce... are their not other channels we could operate through?
Agent Pace: In light of these developments, and the threat they pose, DifferenceEngine has been assigned as a special representative of the Machines.
Agent Pace: He is to be your contact for any pertinent information. You may trust him as you would trust myself, or Agent Gray.
Oldskool2814: Wow... ask and you shall receive, eh DE?
Agent Pace: As far as the Commandos are concerned: For the time being, current operations will be sufficient.
DifferenceEngine: Indeed Oldskool. Is that sufficient proof to rid you of your concerns?
Oldskool2814: So simply, do not fire, until fired upon?
Agent Pace: If they do show open hostility toward our operatives at any time, suitable retribution is warranted.

Agent Pace: My apologies, I tend to take humans over literally on occasion.
DifferenceEngine: I think there is a sound loop there Ma' am.
DifferenceEngine: I hope it was not a bug in your system.
Agent Pace: I would hope so as well.
CIND3R: The commandos seem to be very interested in our perceptions of the matrix and this truce
CIND3R: along with our dealings of the cypherites
DifferenceEngine: Another virus running through the Machines would be of concern.
Agent Pace: Any additional intelligence on the General and his men is welcome; we must keep careful watch upon them.
CIND3R: les hope it doesnt come to that... we all miss agent skinner

Starschwar: Which reminds me.... Flood's daughter(rarebit q+a thread confirms that she is not floods daughter -Tax) was at Tabor earlier.... when I mentioned the fact that we had apprehended the Effectuator, she implied that he has a secret or surprise in order for us...

Agent Pace: Someone had asked if we are actively pursuing the Merovingian's demise. If there remains any doubt, let me remove it. The Merovingian will be removed from the Matrix, and we shall play a part in it.
DifferenceEngine: D4sh that would be most useful, send entry protocols to my contact address -- lest someone is listening in.
d4sh: Very well.
Starschwar: I will send copies of everything Jakeson has sent me..
DifferenceEngine: Excellent.
Agent Pace: I am certain that Merovingian operatives are planning the Effectuator's release, even as we speak. Should you learn of any such plans, please relay them to DifferenceEngine, and take whatever actions are necessary to hinder them.
DifferenceEngine: Confirming receipt Starschwar.

DifferenceEngine: I am in need of building up my records of contacts. I request that you send me information of faction names, leader or contact. Ask them to send me an "email", if I am not around.
d4sh: I suggest 1 person will do that.
Starschwar: I think one email per faction should be fine.
d4sh: To prevent getting multiple messages with the same information.
Oldskool2814: Agreed
DifferenceEn gine: The more the merrier - to spread the word to the other factions. Mutiple messages are not a problem I can simply ignore the repeats.
d4sh: Very well *chuckles*.
Agent Pace: Additionally, we require that you spread the information we have shared here, to any trusted Machine operatives. Cooperation from all factions will be indispensable.
d4sh: I do wish to formally apologize to both Subnova and The Watchmen, for keeping the meeting with Agent Gray to ourselves for this long.
Starschwar: No appology nessecary.

Trommler: I'm sure you had your reasons d4sh
CIND3R: we understand - and its standard operating procedure
Agent Pace: No apologies are necessary; these are dangerous times, and you were not directed to share information.
Oldskool2814: D4sh, this is a cloak and dagger business... we get it.
DifferenceEngine: The important point is that all factions, solo crews and Machinist individuals are contacted and alerted of my presence.

Agent Pace: I must add, that it warms my heart to see the cooperation and efficiency displayed here. Machine operatives truly do represent the best of humanity, I believe.
