Tyndall: The Assassin may be dispersed, Warrior, but the Matrix will feel the effects of his corruption for some time to come. Vestiges of his code still stain our simulation. The most obvious of these may even take physical form.

Our scanners are picking up a small concentration of code containing the Assassin's signature in your vicinity. Investigate, and see what you can find. Perhaps we can purse this small spot of decay

Operator: The corrupt code reading comes from somewhere in that building.

Operator: Oh, gross! That's definitely where the code reading is coming from. Upload those flies to me at a hardline; I think I can decompile them. I'll upload the result to you if I get anything useful, but make sure that you have an inventory slot free before you upload the flies.

Tyndall: Othinn, this is an important reminder to us that, even if it appears relatively peaceful on the surface, the Matrix may harbor unexpected threats deep within its code stream. Although it seems that we have destroyed the Assassin program, we can't be sure of the ramifications of his corruption of the Matrix; it is possible that a viral influence of his corruption may even now be wreaking havoc on hidden subroutines in the simulation.

Only your continued vigilance can assure Zion's survival, Warrior.
