Okay, my factionmates and I have been bugging soe and we got some answers.

1.) You need to download the station launcher to get the other games.

2.) SOE is working to upgrade everyone's account to a station access pass. However, its taking a while. They should all be activated within the next couple days.

3.) Pirates of the Burning Sea and PlanetSide are NOT going to be available to us. We WILL have access to EQ, EQ II, and SWG.

4.) The Access should start soon, and it will run for 60 days.

There is a NEW zombie killing game coming out on May 14th, 2009. Oh my God, it just owned left4dead in the face. It makes left4dead look like a PBS barney&friends version of the game.

I think this is a cool little move. Too bad they didn't put MXO in to the mix, oh well.

Stephen Colbert is launching "Operation Humble Kanye" by taking on Kanye West for the number one spot on itunes. Colbert is doing this because "If his head gets any bigger, it will explode and then we will all be covered with sunglass shards."

So he is asking everyone to buy his album from Itunes. The money from the sales goes towards Feeding America (a charity). If at all possible, Colbert wants everyone to buy it at 5:00pm est.

I had way too much time on my hands today

OJ Simpson was convicted for armed robbery in Las Vegas. So after all these years OJ will finally be getting what he deserves. But this is where it gets spooky.

OJ Simpson's Jury deliberated for 13 hours before making their decision.

Finally, OJ Simpson was convicted on the 13th anniversary of the day he was acquitted for his murder trial.

Brett Favre has officially announced that he wants to come back to play.

Although, He has asked Green Bay for an unconditional release from his contract. This is because Green Bay has basically said they don't want Favre. They say that they are getting ready for Aaron Rogers to take over and lead them to the Super Bowl, or at least the play offs.. So Brett Favre is saying: Fine, release me from my contract. Don't trade me. Let me decide where I want to go. This request for a release from his contract doesn't necessarily mean he will not play for Green Bay, though. The Ball is in The Green Bay Packer's Court.

So Brett Favre is back. But where will he land????

Some idiots were setting off fireworks in the hallways and outside of their apartment building and caused a multi alarm fire. Burning 11+ appartment buildings. This happened about 5 blocks away from me. I think the fire is still going on, actually. Hundreds are now without a home. Luckily, no one was injured.

It seems like Microsoft will be cutting the price of the 20 GB Xbox 360 to $299. This would be down from $350. Hopefully they drop the price on the elite, as well. I was actually about to buy a 360 when I saw this. so I'm excited to see a price drop.

Original sources said it would happen July 6th, but the Kmart ad that was leaked says it will start on July 16th. And that would be E3 week. Which makes pretty good sense to me.

Since the 360's HD-DVD disc can only hold around 30GBs and the the Blu-Ray Discs can hold around 50GBs will this lead to the PS3 being better in the long run?

Cyberathlete Professional League (CPL) finally closes down after ten years.

I'm a little shocked that it closed abruptly. But maybe not in the long run. Championship Gaming Series (CGS) seems to be the new and upcoming thing. Which could be why a lot of the Counter Strike teams decided to switch over to it.

This has been brought up a couple times. But I think it deserves its own thread. We are actually in Capital City, USA not the "Mega City."

We can see this twice in the file that the Machines have on Thomas Anderson.

First on the front page where it lists his place of birth. (I highlighted the part)

Then we can see it again on his passport. Which means he is currently living in Capital City. Not that he was just born in Capital City and Moved to the Mega City. (once again, I highlighted the part)

So, I personally think we should all start calling it Capital City. Anyone have else have any thoughts on this?

Hey everyone,

I want to start filming ingame things to make movies and whatnot. I was wondering though, what are the minimum and recommended computer specifications to be able to successfully film in mxo?

I just got a PNY Verto Geforce 8600 GT video card. I know about the indoor issues. But I know people who use a Geforce 7600 and film with a steady framerate. But when I try to film it is choppy. This is even outdoors. And even some time i get a little bit of choppiness when I'm not filming. So /shrug.

Anywho! I was just wondering what are the minimum system specs to film ingame footage in MXO.

Also, what program do you use? I've heard of fraps and ZD soft Game recorder.

My specs are:

Amd Athalon 2.2 Ghz processor

2.5 Gbs of ram

integrated Realtek AC'97 sound card

And the Geforce 8600 GT with 256 mb of DDR3 ram.

Hey everyone, I got an Geforce 8600 GT for Christmas. I had a couple questions, and I was hoping you all would be able to help me.

1.) I've heard about the 8800 problems, does it extend to the 8600 and if so; to what extent?

2.) Where should I get the drivers for this card? I know bonopi's post back in 05 mentioned something about XtremeG 81.84 v.2. I didn't know if that was still the best kind of driver for mmos or if I should just get it from the manufacturer or Nvidia's website.

3.) I want to film using this card and when I do, i lose alot of frame rate and everything becomes choppy. This is strange because Madbent's Geforce 7600 films just fine.

4.) I get some choppiness when I'm not filming, is that the lag people are talking about with the 8000 series?

5.) If the problem applies to all of the 8000 series, anyone know how soon the card will be able to pwn in MxO?

Basically, could someone give me a break down of this card, or really should get my drivers etc. I really appreciate it!

I had to write a paper for my theology class that described three christ-figures in the movies. And I chose Agent Smith as one. Here is that section of my essay. I thought it was pretty interesting, and that you all may like to read it.

Another great story of a Christ-figure can be found in The Matrix. Most think that Neo plays the all important role of the Christ-figure. And that Cypher is Judas and Morpheus is John the Baptist. However, there is a different perspective that must be considered when looking at the Matrix. There is a question that must be asked, "What if Smith was the Christ-figure?" This is more than likely possible. Look in the context that surrounds the Matrix. The Matrix is created by the Machines, which makes the Machines God of the world they created. You then have Zion, the fallen ones who rejected what had been given to them and they were disconnected from the source. This can be equated to Lucifer rejecting God's love and chose to reject what God had given him. He chose to leave heaven. This is exactly what we see with the humans that reject the system. They don't want to have any part of what the Machines gave them, and they would rather leave than stay a part of that. Henceforth they are disconnected from the Matrix and disconnected from the creators of it. The Machines once again can be considered Gods of the Matrix.

The Redpill humans, however, can not leave the world alone. They must tempt others to get away from the Matrix, as well. This is just how sin works in the world today. It tempts us to leave the relationship we have with God. Effectively, the Redpills could be considered demons. This is illustrated very well in The Matrix: Reloaded when we see the massive party in the caverns of Zion. The party is very sensual and carnal. It borders on an a mass orgy. All of which clearly represents sin and temptation. What drives homes this image more than anything is the location of this party. Zion is having the party underground in caverns. The caverns are very close to lava and flames. This is how most people imagine Hell. When people envision Hell, they see a fiery place underground filled with lava. Zion clearly represents Hell.

The Machines, in response to the Redpills corrupting those who are still inside of the Matrix, send agents in to the matrix to help keep the human population safe and a way from the bad temptations that are being offered to them by the Redpills. The agents, more than likely, represent prophets that God had sent down to his people. But just as in the Bible, it wasn't enough. Sin continued to grow, and was growing out of control. This could be related to in the Matrix to about the time that Neo showed up. In Reloaded - after Neo was freed - Morpheus said "In the past 6 months we have freed more minds than in 6 years," this could be seen as sin was on the rise and more and more people were turning away from God. So the Machines, like God, had to send their only begotten son in to the world to combat this. Once again this can be related to John 3:16. Of course, in the Matrix the Machine's only begotten son was Smith. Just as Jesus, Smith was feared for what he was doing and was persecuted. Smith was the biggest threat to Zion's efforts for recruiting more Bluepills. Once again, like Jesus, Smith had to combat the evils that were presented before him. This included purging the world of Redpills. In the bible it would be equated to Jesus performing exorcisms to get rid of the demons.

Just as the other Christ-figures, Smith made a sacrifice. It could be argued that it wasn't a conscience decision, but the decision was made to sacrifice himself to get rid of Neo and help protect vasts amounts of Bluepills from being awakened. Smith died so the Bluepills could continue to live in the matrix without the huge threat of being drawn away by Neo. This could have been a decision made by the Machines to use Smith to get rid of Neo. They knew that they would have to sacrifice their son in order to save the matrix and humanity from being ruined. This is just how God knew what would happen to Jesus when he sent him down from heaven. When Smith and Neo died together the Matrix reset. It effectively refreshed the Matrix and gave it a new start. The Machines doing this is like implementing the new and everlasting Covenant. Bluepills were free to leave the matrix and the bond with the Machines, but the Machines gave everyone in the Matrix a fresh start and a new chance. This is exactly what God has done. The Bluepills are free to break away from their pods and their connection to the source. However, when they break away from the pods, they will be going to Zion which is Hell. This is a great analogy for when humans choose to turn a way from God. They go to hell, and hell is most clearly defined as outside of God's love. A person in Hell no longer has a connection to that connection to God. Just as a Redpill has no connection to the source. There is one last sign that we can see that tells us the source and the Machines are good and represent heaven and grace. When Neo looks at the Machine City it is made out of pure light. Pure light is metaphor often used when talking about Heaven and God.

It has come to my attention that an Operative named xxxhandlexxx is a Machine spy. From what I am told, he has already made his way into couple factions. Including Morpheus' Legacy, Deimos Arc, and Troopers revolutions just to name a few.

We know he is a Machine spy because during the operation where Zion killed the hacker, he proclaimed his loyalty to the Machines and promptly left our faction. He has since, tried to set up a hit on one of our members. At the location of the hit, Systematica was there and lead the ambush.

Once again, do not let xxxhandlexxx into your faction. He is a machine spy. Morpheus' Legacy will not let a mole infect our organization, and we choose to put a stop to it right now.

Jake Brown seriously cheated death when he fell over 40 feet on to the hard wood flat of a gigantic ramp. Jake nailed a 720 launching off of the ramp, but just a few seconds later on the vert ramp he loses control and flys 40 feet up in the air and 30 feet out into the middle of the flat (flat part of the ramp). The fall literally knocked the shoes off of him. What's the biggest surprise of this you ask? Ten minutes later Jake Brown WALKS off the ramp.  Check it out.

On August 1st, the long awaited CS Pro mod  finally reached closed beta. It looks like this game will actually reach fruition.

For those not familiar with CS Pro mod; it is a modification based on the Half Life 2 engine. It was Specifically designed for competitive game play. It uses the high end graphics that you see in Counter Strike Source, but has the same specifications (IE: accuracy, recoil, mathematics, et cetera) as Counter Strike 1.6 and 1.5. An elite group of players (think big name teams), along with the development team and others will help make the final decisions on which aspects should be taken from which version. When all is said and done, the goal of CS Promod is to create a hybrid Counter strike with all of it's best qualities and have it used main stream for competitive game play.

Japan had an earthquake less than a week ago. It was like a 6.5 on the scale and one thing that it damaged was the Nuclear Power Plant. It created a big crack and 300 milion gallons of Radioactive water poured out into the sea of Japan. And the latest reports say that the water is 1.5 times more radioactive than first thought.

Now... In the movies,  the original Godzilla was was made from radioactive waste going into the sea of Japan. And Godzilla mutated and became Godzilla. Now that it seems this is coming true, all I have to say is run for the hills!!!
