HoW MUCH........

Well the end is drawing near.. i loved hacking, the best part of the matrix for me. Hacking people to npc's the fun just never stopped, from cr 1 to cr 2 i kept at it and have met some really decent hackers along the way, 2soon2late, Galador, Kane187 (cr 1), Broin, panicagression, bayamos, orion1, adorian (all from the vector server)... And thats just a very few of the best and only from the Vector-hostile server.. so whatever the other servers hold im sure, still as great.

So moving on..

I'd like to take this time to say thanks to anyone who put a lot of input and revealed some of there own set ups and experiences during the game, to help bring more hackers into the game.

Code Nuking mara central never gets boring, or the infected destroyed bottled in the butt! techinque we all love..

Basically i made this thread just  to see what silly things you guys used to do when you first started to play the game, espically if this was your First Online game or generally your first MMO i mean its  totally different to playing on your average console.. Well i thought so anyway..

Anywhoo i'll throw mine in first, since this was indeed my only online game and at that time im not even sure i knew what an 'MMO' was.. all i saw was Matrix!! 'carry on the story' and since i loved the films so damm much it was A MUST since i missed Beta i had to get it on launch and.. so i did

I remeber reading the evade combat ability and i think it said something like "this will help stop enemys attacking you "or something on those lines and i thought that it was gonna stop all the gangs shooting me while i was missioning in westview.. obviously to my horror that wasn't the case and took me a few times to realise lol.. i know.. stupid huh.. i think i was like 14 nearly 15 :L mad stuff

For hackers i've generally found a hellaova lot of defense clothing along with resistance to support that clothing agaist hackers, Such as Sleepwalkershirt, Area K for prime examples. So generally its quite easy to provide yourself support agaist hackers themselves with the right stuff on.

So.. i've been finding ways in which we can still beat those players who indeed have some tough clothing set ups agaist hackers, including hackers themselves ofcourse.

What are your idea's and what clothing set ups do you use as a hacker to counteract other players, what do you load to increase your defense etc?

Post your idea's, tips or even just generally what you do.

This post is generally to help other up coming hackers so that they are a bit more clued up on, what not to wear, and ofcourse what is more efficient to get the enemy dead.

Obviously clothing isn't the only thing thats going to be involved, Stats and the loadouts themselves are important to

Death Pit is a 3 Round Game.

The Aim Of The Game is Simple, The Last Team Standing Wins The Round.

Each Team Will Be Placed at a different Part of the Death Pit each round.

You Are Not allowed to HyperJump What so ever in this Stage.

You Are Also not allowed to leave the death pit, No Excuses.

You Are Allowed to hide, sit and recover if needs be.

Each Round Will Start with every team each jacking out and Back in again When Told to do so.

If You Manage to be the Last team Standing you Gain 30 points. Every Kill Is Ofcourse Worth 5 points.

Once you die, you must not reconstruct until instructed to, If your timer runs out, you must notify me straight away.

The Team That Stands Last Will Be asked to Tell Me the Character name/s of those Who still stood.

Everyone Will either be revived or Recontructed and Back for the next Round Once DE is not longer in effect.

And You PM me The 6 names of Current ACTIVE, WILLING Players To go agaist the Other Teams of 6, Tasks and PvP Will be forumlated in Different locations. BUT There is a little Trick Here. The 6 players must consist of for Example:

Uglyboi1 - MA (1)

Uglyboi2 - Guns (2)

Uglyboi3 - Hacker (1)

UglyBoi4 - MKT (2)

This Does NOT mean that You can't change your load on the event day to MKT for instance to fit in a slot because a player couldn't make it for example. Or ofcourse say when you read this your guns but then u change because u want to compete as an MA, Thats Fine too. BUT Once The Event starts No player involved is allowed to Change Professions.

Only 2 Loadout Changes Are to Be Made During This event and that is Per Team. At any Point You want to change your loadout you must Tell me, Consult with your team and make sure i get a Yes from everyone in that team to say that its ok, Rember only 2 People in each team can change there loadout Throughtout the Whole Event. (You Don't have to change at all if u do not need to) If you change without Permission you will have points Deducted.

Rules Will Differ Throughout the event (You will be recap'd on Rules throughtout event.). This Is NOT Purely Based PvP, Because You'll have many different trials ahead of you before any one team can become Vector-hostiles - Strongest Six.

Point System (Differs Stage to stage)

Killing A Red = 5 Points (Try to have Time stamped SS for Proof)Completeing Part of Objective = 15 points

Completeing All Objectives = 30 points.

Each Player is Responsible for Counting how many he/she killed if theres any doubt i will ask for Time stamped SS for Proof of kills, i do realise its hard to constantly have this done but its not impossible guys and girls. If Your gonna Lie And ruin the fun then don't sign up, Your just a waste of my time.

Each Stage, you can obtain different amounts of points, Killing a red is just grabbing you extra points. Some stages you can only die once etc etc.

The Time Frame Can be anything up to, 2 hours MAX Per Stage. The Duration of the Whole Event has not yet been forumlated. 

Instead of a Certain Time Zone as such, Its going to be more - What Suits Me, And the Players Involved So we're able to work around the majority of those who say... I got work that day or for whatever reason. Now there is no excuse.

KaosDevil First was created on Input-Hostile, Back when my Compaq memory had a standard old graphics card which only showed some colours in the matrix, lag was alastic but i ploded through and did my best to level. After a while i got some money together, got some RAM and new graphics card and now eventually after all the time of playing i sorted out a half decent gaming computer just to play mxo! lolz (This being my first and only online game). Dedication with the hacker tree throughout the game, Thats something i know some of you are gonna miss when you see KaosDevil has come online.

Just so you all know. Today is my last day in the matrix. i will be reading the forums to see how u get on , and may turn up on the odd day but as for long term monthly playing anyway. i'd still sub up one day to see how its going. Just no more KD regular in mara c anymore " width="15" height="15"> and no Little KD

PvPing has been fun since i've been back. Came back for halloween and has kept me going with me basically being in every event i possibly could come to. I also joined Dark evolution. And met some great people! Such as FABIA! " width="15" height="15"> JEAH! and Mana, byond,orion1,brazzz,thebruceter,codedblue,BYZAR, Dzbull.. knew most of them before but saw them in a different lite to what they are when looked upon as red.

Morpheus Legacy - Glad you guys kept them PvP battles going on Vector Cup agaist Dark evo and some additional merv's/machine about it lol

Furious Angels lol - For being quite entertaining, setting up these random take the post player events every other week

Dark evolution - The best faction i've been in since old skool The Monkey boyz (input-hostile) I gotta put it to mana i've really enjoyed how Dark evo always take part, keep the pvp battles going strong, I'd say that everyone is allowed to hear your opinion, we all Co-operate with each other and help each other get stuff like Overdrives etc which is nice to see in a faction. But here the people actually make you feel welcome " width="15" height="15"> There great players.. But even better people. <3

Hazard Howitzerz - CYPH - Even saying that Dark evo was the best faction i'd have to say that when i had my own faction HH, it was tough leveling like 5 lowbies at a time, all needing stuff with few 50s around. But i think in general i enjoyed buliding that faction, Me and Tnus leveled Jacsterd to 50, and we from there where like the deadly trio haha! But we did basically everything together in the matrix. Good times, But i did eventually leave the matrix.

HutchieJNR - For actually turning out to be pretty cool! Sometimes i think he's really misunderstood.

PDS - Always keeping us Europian countries and PvP going on the red side Gotta give em some credit. We wouldn't have so much fun otherwise " width="15" height="15"> i loved being called a noob by sangreal i thought it was mad funny lolz

Project Mayhem And also any Old Ronin member if your in the buliding! They've been great throughout the whole game, Always a pleasure to pvp with. and agaist.

To Vector! Home of the Hostiles!

All of you notice? or am i the only one? Now don't get me wrong, this is no way in any shape or form a hate message of any sort but i do want to stress one thing. If you play on Vector-hostile as your regular server or you share some equal time between 2 servers or even all 3 and you attend events on Vector-hostile then fine, sounds good to me right?

But the thing that really anoys me is that, you get these non-hostile players that don't regularly come over Vector-hostile and infact the only time they do come on once they've leveled a 50 is.. to pop on OUR events. Now this really really really ticks me off, i mean fair enough i do appolgise if any of our players do it to the other servers but speaking from a player and speaking for players who do not, This has got to stop. All i'm trying to say is, don't just come on vector for our events and then go off back to Neverland or you'll find people will start bulldozing the yellowbrick road, setting fire to the man made of straw and beating tinman with cricket bats lol.

Overall it would be nice, if you are going to come over for our events to spend More time over here, pvp with us and actually become apart of the Vector-hostile community, i can name a few of you that do, therefore this does not apply to you (You know who you are) but as for the rest of you please do take this in mind ok?

Oh and one more thing. Complaints about the machine population, in the cyptos event tonight all these non-hostile server players appeared out of no where, mainly machines. Like i said if your going to come on for our live events, spend a little more time over Vector, not just pop on and off whenever you feel like it.

i don't know whether you'll be able to help me but..

Atm i currently have an issue with my Network controller, which is located in "Other Devices" and also has a yellow question mark next to it.

This isn't working properly because i need to install the driver it says, but i don't have the driver disk to install it with, this means i can not connect to the internet, even though it appears i'm connected (This problem is on my gaming PC)

i was wondering, how would i go about solving this problem? because when i go on the Compaq site it only supplies updates(and i've searched it in google, and nothing seems to be of help), not the drivers themselves. So therefore, would i have to go to my local PC store and see if i'm able to purchase the correct driver disks there or ?

I'm really not that good with computers in a sense so, any suggestions on what i should do?

Hello, this is KD... Even though i am leaving the game tomorrow certain people have been left incharge of my faction and you'll still see them about and also i have access to other accounts to pop in and check in to see how its doing Anmously ofcoarse hehe Anyways,

Hazardz Howitzerz - CYPH is a faction purely to level indivduals to 50 and to teach them as much as possiable about the game, using different straigys in pvp, and the best loadouts and macro's to follow through to become a good pvper and a good player. Our goal isnt to become overly huge as a faction, infact thats one of the aims i put personally at the bottom of the list... We're more involved with having a good community and enviorment ingame in the best way possiable (even though some people havent relised but i'm trying my best to keep all kinds of flame,trash talking and anything simular to this as such.. out of my faction and out of game hard goal to succed huh? lol) Anyways, anyone thats knows me and thinks i'm alright will know thats my faction will work well we're also currently working on a site and forums once we gets some cash together poor me (litally) anywho... Ok i'll post some Screen shots up for a few reasons of why i'm leaving and i know alot of it i should just turn my nose up at and think ahhh who cares right? But i pay money to play a game i'm to have fun in... I used to have fun in this game... i still do sometimes... but When really you think of all the people you've known and helped in the past and... you dont think they'd actually backstab you and do the things they do. I've got a nice girlfriend atm i've been with for a long time and got my GSCE's coming up and everything and i dont need to be stressed out by silly little people with no lifes who just stress me out. I've just recently stopped smoking and finding that hard and also passed a phycoclogy thing to do with anger managerment less stress possiable so leaving this game will be no problem whats so ever... and according to santinoz you guys cant wait to get rid of me So i'll be glad to be gone... All my stuff is going to a guy who i've recently been helping level called Jacsterd and i hope he becomes a much better hacker than i was (which also wouldnt be hard according to santinoz). Suposably i'm just a noob hacker and a chav lol... and the Chav bit applyed to alot of people i got called that in the past because i actually had the bottle to stick on a picture of me because i'm not a sterotypical person people are all equal in my view.

Right i wanna put this straight now - I've heard so many times that "Broins the best hacker on vector" honestly i dont get how that can be true.... i mean rarely ever do i see him online and when i do he hasnt killed me 1on1 and i dont actually get how any hacker can be named 'the best hacker on vector" because anyone can kill anyone depending on the load the status, the defense, resistance so who actually thinks there can be a best person at a certain load? and who actually thinks it a certain person cus i know im good at my load but i know for a fact that im not the best... my view is there isnt a best - What do you people think?
