:O excellent idea on how that could be implimented i love the idea of archived neighbourhoods. It removes the problem of conflicting real time and poeple who dont wish to be involved also could provide an excellent pvp opportunity like being able to set up pvp battles with your own rules and playground. (FFA, team deathmatch >>>CTF<<< etc etc) why has no one thought of archiving the current neighborhoods before!!!

Its a long shot and wouldn't be that hard to impliment (we already have part of mara wntz mor! xD You could litterally do anything within that area and not have to worry. There would however have to be some sort of restriction with regards ways to abuse the system for xp/inf but its extremely plausable and the first thing in ages thats got me this enthusiastic about mxo... soo much potential!

Hyperjump was never that much of an issue when chasing and fleeing were balanced in terms of difficulty.

Now, as long as the jumper is not horribly, horribly incompetent, he/she can get away guaranteed. Reds have NO chance to catch the jumper if the jumper has even a small idea what they're doing. It didn't use to be this way.

I'd have to disagree there bay its not *that* difficult to look for the white lines in the sky and follow them and if your really good you can hyperjump too with them instead of running. That said it is more effort to actually catch them but meh.. if you want it that bad.. lol

Zimm has a point that depending on how difficult the task is *everyone* should be taken into consideration. (and we know they strive to achieve this hence the current whole debacle with events etc)

i agree in that for optional seasonal content we shouldn't have to tackle something overly difficult. That said i don't think there would ever be anything better buffed released considering as i mentioned previously the winter stuff is a once a year optional thing. It's what i would call purely cosmetic and "just for laughs". Therefore there wouldn't be any problems with new tasks without any tough new items ^^ so it's a moot argument in my opinion >.<

Its nice its enough and thats all its ever going to be as far as sony can see it... And if they *did* put something more difficult i would be albeit pleasantly surprised. (:

level difference can add with the same tactics equal level about 1 or 2 max extra attempts required. that is if your low level breaking a higher levels shield. The opposite would obviously reduce the amount by the same 1 or 2 required attempts

SHield resistance doesnt vary by loadout (much) but more by tactic choice. As mentioned each tactic has they're own general bonus. Grab happens to have a high force combat bonus (which is what is used to calculate if you break the shield or not). If someone uses block it increases they're combat evasion (which is used to calculate the opposite of force combat)

 

THink of it in terms of attack and defence, Force combat is the attacking strengh and combat evasion is the defence. Every character has these bonus'.

Also any questions... seriously stop spamming discussion with "newbie" questions or in this case what i could assume is a development idea. I suggest thinking through where your thread should go first SMILEY (:

Well when it comes to wii the graphics where never great anway its not a console for graphics more about gameplay. As for the cod4/cod5 debate i only started playing cod4 just before the release of cod5 and it was on xbox but i think im one of the few that having played both prefers this one.

 

The only downside is the wii version has reduced content..not all of the maps etc which kinda sucks :/

I think that sums it up pretty much, if the live events are going to be the few short ones here and there, LESIG has more actual storyline telling power than ever to make the game fun for it's gamers, and that of course demands a little attention here and there by the Devs. A few more tools, maybe a special mask or two for LESIG only that lasts until jackout, (Lupine, Vampire and SWAT comes to mind). yea i agree, they're now more important then they have ever been. don't however misunderstand where their importance lies. Its not in their liason roles, they have taken a back seat more as a front for the events themselves. but lesig as a group must now perform alot of what rare did. i guess it was heading this way from their introduction SMILEY

I think somewhere out there the content still stands.... lesig as SEPET said is still around and ive noticed mob spawns and alot of heavy RP which leads me to believe the story is there is you look for it. I've yet to as i said look for it but we'll see. i just havent been able to devote as much time to mxo and i guess i've lost interest with it. either way, im tired waiting this out...

Anyone tried this out? its pritty cool, i've always been deterred from playing FPS's on consoles purely because i detest analog sticks for aim. So with the wii its an interesting addition to my collection.

 

If anyone does: 498390118749 = friend code (: add me my friends list is lacking since the wii doesn't have any method of communication between players and theres no ingame chat. Its impossible to find friends in-game like you would playing the xbox. >.>

When i first herd windows where cutting their loses and moving on i was glad but had to laugh. "Windows 7" is really windows 6, everything windows vista *should* have been. atleast it's fixed most of the problems >.>

Well the problem with robots and where alot of robotics fails is the conscious which makes choices and decisions based on passed events, occurances and ultimately the ability to learn itself. It is and has been proven that the human mind cannot be re-created robotically because of the complexity of the human mind. You'd be surprised to know that we don't actually know alot about our own mind. In this case not enough to fully create it.

Sure you can create functions and movements and even create this sense of learning and self teaching but it all has to be programmed to act that way and never really learns for itself. It learns because its told to...

Well i suppose hes got a point like lol you have no hope in getting this back. As he said it serves no relevant purpose other than to look cool but causes alot of problems. Your asking for something back using the reason it was removed, really no hope trying. Fixing the effects it caused was clearly alot more difficult than just removing the cause itself.

I think atleast theres better things out there we could be asking for (:

anyway lol the lug takes far too much time to farm for its benifit... so thats that out the window.

removing the required boss kill = tool with easy access, too easy. It needs some task not as difficult but 50+ another excuse to go nuts here rare SMILEY since ahem chapt 12 proved how crazy he's gone :s lol but doable... solo i'd say since well its not of *that* much imporance :s

The xp as someone said isnt really amazing and the only time it is is when you decmpile things far above your level which doesnt last long 40k is the highest i've ever recieved.

Eventually you run out of items too... So remove it please for what its worth... which isn't alot.

It takes a good hour or so to decompile a good list of items which is kinda ridiculous when you think about it. I mean its annoying if you actually want to use it for its purpose and not xp.
