Actaully they are re-writing the game from ground up, to be re released in 2011. Our chars will all be reset, but names will be saved, and we get priority for beta testing.

Thank you for last night - both to the ganked and the gankees. I had, to be honest, written this game off as nothing more than frustrating - but I had immense fun last night with a team of 5-6 folks vs mervs and or zions in various levels.

Thank you for showing me just how imba Team recall is now that it works.

Thank you to the couple of people I 1v1'd with, those are always to be treasured. Win or lose.

Lastly, thanks for everyone who smiled to see me back, or just the JoKeRz tag. We will always be rollin somewhere.

I am back at uni with my computer, So I logged in to the all powerful MxO.

And the reds consist of a 50 master shadow, a 29 17 and 14. No point trying to kill an MS. So is /loadlo MKT and strip. A few nekkid sweeps and Punts later (one is fatal, the other is not) I am bored. The lowbies neither trash talk nor learn. The 50 left. So I went to have a shower and left my toon nekkid dancing.

Seriously, a 15 minute naked dance at mara C and no one even came by. Sadness. I have logged out and with experiences like that - what is the point?

Gratz FA on a fab idea, marred only by the ridiculous lag.

I win, however,

Speaking to yasamuu I was informed that 1 toughness grants 1 point to each resistance.

Nothing of this is shown in any of the bonus' screen info. Are they therefore applied seperately - i.e stacking... cause otherwise it seems to have no shown benefit.

Glimmer of the source is 6% as I recall.

Why?

After a couple of days of 8-12 reds at mara I had pretty much given up on this game. Even Nekkid punting has limits to its amusement. But the last three trips inside have been very enjoyable. When there were more mervs I helped the zion, more zion I help the mervs. Anytime I see 2v1 I tried to take the second, at the least preserving the main fight as a 1v1. I enjoyed it. Specific heads up to DuKKer here, he swiftly accepted my help and my only regret was that the mervs melted away so quickly.

When Zion had the numbers, again tahnks for not just ganking the *poop* outta me - a few good duels and I jackout with a smile. A rare occasion.

Imagine, just for a moment, that PvP was purposeful in the constructs.

Imagine that in the constructs when you killed an opponent you could loot/would recieve a token. No's of these tokens could be exchanged for goods. Imagine if 50 kills in various sakura instances could be exchanged for bandanna equivolents - which of course would need to be untradeable.

I am not saying the same loot as the bosses drop, but new loot, only achievable through PvP in the constructs. Not only would this bring more people to the constructs, it would result in escalation - as more people died reinforcements would be called and there might even be large scale pointful PvP.

Just a thought.

Edit: Consideration see's that people between orgs could come up with deals to farm tokens by respectively allowing themselves to be killed. Perhaps only allow tokens from people without DE. *shrugs* It was merely a starting point of an idea.

Ok guys, now is your chance to tell me the appropriate behaviour for an MA who logs on to find 10+ zions at mara.

I could interlock and die. I could try and get a 1v1 to get sniped 20 seconds in.

I could nekkid hardline dance but tbh half this lot are utterly devoid of soul and would just gank.

I could go on a nekkid punt rampage (my current tactic)

I could gank the lowbies (I felt really bad when EVENTUALLY the 27 kept shooting me to the extent I had to retaliate.....)

I could try and get my PB4 shoes, but don't have the people to call on for help anymore tbh

So I am left with respeccing sniper/MKT to try and kill before dying.

Or I could restart WoW and do some dailies, or some PvP where there will be vaguely even sides. hmmmm

I repro'd the bug

I was in creston. Fighting Zombies.

Whilst in interlock, I pressed 'p' to open up the stat screen and cycled onto the combat tab and then pressed bonus tab where upon my client crashed with no reporter or anything.

I repeated this twice to the same effect.

Anyone else wish to try?

Could someone explain why neither desperation nor mobius code can be used whilst block tactics is on? I imagine this applies to pills too.....

In what order are clothing and ability buffs applied? Ie VD. If I am wearing the clothes with extra VD on them it increases not only my natural, but the amount from hyper deflect.... If I change clothing after I put HD on then I seem not to get the bonus... SMILEY

Would this apply to buffs too? Like KFGM with acc clothing etc?

oh, could I get a list of people who expect me to interfere in 1v1's? In general I don't and people are shouting at me.

Am I the only one who has troubles with clicking specials and them not being 'queued'? I have had to start just spamming the move I want next. Also, why when moves miss are the animations still playing? Most confusing.

Does your withdrawl roll work of the tactics speed etc...? In other words if I have speed tactics am I more likely to roll out than in power/block.

Specials Vs. block :- I have come to the conclusion that this is odd. As it was explained to me special VS Special is attack roll vs attack. If this applies to normals (and for reasons I cannot fathom block tactics still rolls an attack...) then blocking against specials is worthless. It certainly seems to be.

Switching tactics. I have discovered that instead of setting the damage at the same time as the hit roll is done, there is a huge gap. So when I did a special in speed and switched back to block it did 1pt of damage. This also appears to work for switching to power..... so I can hit with extra accuracy and do extra damage. Completely negating the point of the tactical differences.... this seems incredibley stupid. Is it an accident and no fix is planned? Or was the entire +acc -dam tactic thing broken on purpose?

WHY IS THERE SO LITTLE HOTBAR /weep There is all this 19" widescreen and only 20 usable slots... 5 of these are taken up by tactics and roll out ffs... having buffs and pills and so on on a side hotbar would be so useful.... *hint*

I remember after CR1 the statements that everyone would look different because clothing buffs would diminish in impact.. just noticed a lot of folks in the same gear since I came back.. shame. Especially when it looks awful. :p

That is about all i have from a couple of days of general annoyance. I am sad to see some of the trash talking, amused by some same old same old, and most of all amazed by the low populations. Coming back from WoW that is the biggest hit.

on the plus side, at least this game is pretty......

PS. You wanna know why I am dancing naked? Cause for a brief time it ws 6-7 machines on just 3-4 zions, so I took myself out of the fight to make it more interesting, rather than just gankage. *shrugs* I have since spent about 3 hours fighting a zerg of between 4-9 on my own. Well I learnt.

I macro'd perception shades, hyper sense, the resist abil, some clothing changes and the block tactic for when I get MKT'd.....

Then I discovered the macro only sometimes works - and sometimes not till 20 secs after I hit it. Is this because my comp hates me? Or am I not supposed to move the macro button? Humbug.

It has definitely worked when I press it. Also, my clothin macro (for when nekkid dancers need intants resist) only works sometimes after a while....

Quite simply, turn on disguise. Let it run out. The animation for it being in use continues (scrolling line up and down the icon on the hotbar).

Turn on hyper defense. Unload the ability. Reload it. The animation of being in use (scrolling line up and down the icon on the hotbar) restarts.

Not only that, but you have to turn the abilities OFF AGAIN before you can turn them on.

Minor bug.

I have not tagged the DT nodes..... why?

The xp with no info = trees not levelled. Plus - it ain't like I'm gonna get attacked.

For one hour I stood there, with two concurrent 5 second abilities attracting attention. No agent attack.

Seriously - this is one of many bits of content that is simply irrelevant. Make the agents attack. 5 mins is too long in an untagged area - especially when using abilities that attract attention. Otherwise, I and many others simply won't bother.

My entire system chat was full of those threats. Ridiculous. I know the chances go down as you level - but I don't think they should ever be this low.

If I hardline away from a fight, and there is an animation for a state on me (dazed stars, blind gas) it never goes away until I HL again. Obviously this is usually in the *Ha ha, now you see me now you don't game*

I suspect a lot of my failings are due to stats as much (if not more) then technique. I still have my first stat hack (the CR1 stat hack they gave out.... remember??!!) so thoughts and examples of your own if you would....

It has been a while since you been around, have you run away from us? Without a goodbye?

How did this happen?

I recall logging in to the boards after 2 hours and having a page of new threads and replies to read, I recall the days where I only left the boards because I absolutely had to - never due to lack of material. I didn't always have to even leave the vector boards....

Is it simply the new boards being teh sux0rz? Is it in fact that massive numbers of hardcore forum folks have left or been banned?

I have no answer, but it depresses me that 20 minutes on a uni room computer is now enough to catch up on everything.

Sad times.
